Yeah...that's gonna continue the bad stories for the NFL. Though clearly Hernandez' issues go beyond CTE

 

I gotta read more CTE studies before I comment on CTE being the cause of all bad behavior by NFL players who have been diagnosed.

 

Not at all! Traded Julio Jones for Phil Taylor, Greg Little, Owen Marecic, Brandon Weeden and help in getting Trent Richardson. Trent was a little disappointing, BUT that was integral in helping us get Johnny Manziel.

It's a good argument in court.

But while he may have advanced CTE, he's always been a particularly bad person dating back to his first season at UF. He is not the martyr for that cause. It's not like there was an accelerating pattern of bewildering behavior.

Not to detract from the message of CTE's impact on the brain, but another factor is how talented athletes are consistently surrounded by enablers and protected from consequences starting in early high school. It can create a sense of entitlement that makes a few of them think they are above legal consequences or social reproach.

Hard to tell for sure. Hurns is the one that replaced ARob, but Lee's also upgraded to getting outside snaps now and is getting way more targets in the slot as well.

My gut tells me Lee. He definitely has a higher ceiling but he's also more prone to injury.
