Franchising Keenum seems like a lose/lose. Best case, he plays like this year and you still have to open the bank for Case Keenum. Worst case, he regresses and you paid $23M to have Case Keenum as your QB

 

And he'll regress. As nutty as it sounds they are better off with Bradford for a year.

 

Keenum is the lowest risk. Bridgewater and Bradford have injury concerns AND you have to worry about regression. Just pay Keenum this year to see if he's worth keeping. If he asks for too much, move on. If he isn't good, move on. This ends with Minny getting a new QB next year anyway.

Buffalo has the firepower to get it done. But Smith is my #1 target this off-season so they can pound sand.

 

i'd be pretty happy with him at the helm. i'd also take one cousins
no bridgewaters or bradfords tho

 

Part of me wants to just go the Houston/KC route. Trade for Alex Smith, trade up for Mason Rudolph. Take the best TE/LB/WR with whatever is left.

But this draft is stacked so there's very little I'd be upset with.
