Nobody is revealing who the player is at the player's request.

I'll guess its either Tyrod's spine (from the concussion at the end of the playoff game) or they found serious things wrong with Benjamin's knee

 

I'm thinking it's Cordy.

The Two Bills 30 for 30 that’s airing next week looks pretty good.

 

The Eric Wood news really sucks. He was definitely approaching the twilight of his career, and when I thought about the future of this team, I didn't envision him being here much longer than 2018 or 2019, but that's a huge loss for the locker room and the Buffalo community.

Together, Wood and Kyle Williams have been pillars on this team for almost 10 years. Every teammate seems to rave about them as leaders and teammates. Wood has done a lot of really, really good things off the field in the community. On the field he was basically what you want from a center. Maybe one bad snap every couple of years. The only injuries I can remember him having over 9 seasons is breaking each leg when he got rolled up on, and in each case it happened later in the season so it felt like he was always healthy and playing. Incredibly lucky and durable. Solid, dependable, barely ever noticeable in a negative way.

I hope he sticks around Buffalo. Nothing against Jim Kelly, but I'm going to be 30 years old in April and I barely remember the dude playing. The team could use someone in that "community ambassador" type role that younger fans actually have memories of

Pretty upset about the Eric Wood news. Wasn’t on my team but you just never want to hear that. Neck injuries freak me out. I hope he doesn’t have a miserable post-retirement :(

That's gonna be a hard pass. My guess is they will use Ryan Groy there for 2018 and also draft an interior OL with one of their 4 picks in the first two rounds if they don't use them to move up for a QB.

No matter how bad the John Miller/Vlad Ducasse tandem was at RG this past season, they refused to move Groy there as he was the only guy they had to backup at center, or so they said. Miller's career in Buffalo probably just got saved by the firing or Rick Dennison, and since Brian Daboll looks to run a power blocking scheme similar to what they had under Greg Roman, he should be fine. Get yourself an interior OL who can either A) play center in case Groy sucks for some reason or B) be the long-term guy to replace Incognito at LG.

 

So is Rick dennison just gonna be the jets glorified ol coach or is he really gonna have a hand in plays? Haha

 

Checked out the Super Bowl Live experience in downtown Minneapolis last night; pretty cool. On one of the main roads through the city they've installed this giant snow covered track, with a bridge in the middle, where people can test cross country skis, and at some point next week they'll have snowmobile jumps, and a fat-tire bike race, I think. NFL-themed ice sculptures, a Verizon 360 degree experience, VR gaming rig things, and a bunch of other stuff. In the Minneapolis Convention Center there's a bunch of more interactive things going on, but it's like $35 to get in there, so I was like "fuck that". There's also a zip-line that crosses the Mississippi river that people can ride, but apparently the entire week is sold out, so whatever.
