I know a guy who played bass for Limp Bizkit when they were still small, did sound for Yellowcard, and now plays drums in a WAY better band than either of those called DigDog.

He’s also in 4 other bands. Plays every instrument & stupid good at all of them. For some reason he won’t leave Jacksonville for more than a one-off tour.

I recently found out he was the singer and songwriter on the second vinyl record I ever bought, an EP by Electric President. Active local band in Jax when I was 14. 12 years later I realize that was his band.

Swanson nor Belichick would behave like that. The middle-aged thing isn't a reason to behave like that. Dude was in his late-40s. That shit doesn't fly when you're a teenager so it's an especially bad look for a "middle-aged man".

I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to him, I'm just saying his attitude is off-putting and he doesn't do anything worth overlooking his personality.

And just as I posted that, I found out that DigDog is last-minute headlining my show on Sunday, because the other band dropped out.

So pumped.

 

But yeah, Tom Petty, Allman Brothers, Against Me, Copeland, Anberlin, Fake Problems, Iron & Wine, and kind of the Drums.

Not the worst but we've also put out some real shit haha.

 

This is the first time I've ever seen simultaneous braggadocio about Against Me and Anberlin

 

Iron and Wine is from Texas I thought

I find him to be fantastic and too much all at once. If his last two albums were half the length I'd be high on him.

 

I don't feel that way about I Love You Honeybear but definitely do about Pure Comedy

 

Iron and wine claims to be from North Carolina, at least he did on that Maron interview which btw was super good and I recommend it.

 

I once had a sun kill moon shirt because it got thrown in in a gift bag from the label, never heard of them until then but I put them on and was like "wow, good shit"
