I personally can think of one outcome better than that.

 

I was talking about the level of difficulty of the play he made.

That was a great play by Gilmore but great QBs still make that throw in my opinion.

 

The throw was fine

 

I thought it needed to be higher.

 

The throw was not fine haha. Bortles underthrows everyone

 

Bortles makes that fucking throw the Jags are in the Bowl.

 

Well, the Jags suffer a more crushing defeat but sure haha

 

I don't man, that throw would have been demoralizing.

 

I'm not sure if it was acknowledged but I thought it was funny how an official was the first to congratulate Brady. Probably doesn't mean anything but it really does make you wonder. I know it makes me wonder, but probably because I hate them so fucking much.

Throw was fine. Dede Westbrook is short as fuck. Watch the play again, he would have had to dive for it even if Gilmore didn’t make that leap

And there wasn’t time/space to put more air under it / arc it more

It was 4th and 14... not really a situation you can be upset about if you don’t covert it. We came close and that sucks but honestly we had a lot more things to complain about before that play. I’m not mad about that play, it was just a really good PBU, Gilmore got some serious air to knock it down.

I still can't believe Fournette didn't lay out for that floater on his wheel route late in the game. It wasn't the best throw but he could have absolutely had it

It was pretty far to the inside. I think the camera angle was deceiving and it was thrown further off course than it looked. That one actually was a poor throw by Blortles.

 

Yeah, Gilmore jumped nearly a full second early and still was able to get a hand on it.

 

Bortles generally makes poor throws. Most of our good passing plays were still underthrown.

It's not surprising that someone so used to losing has no idea how to lead.

 

I disagree, he reached the ball at the top of his jump. Had he jumped too early he’d have been coming back down when the ball got there

 

Maybe some of you are surprised Gilmore could reach it — it’s becuase Bortles was throwing to a short WR who isn’t known for being able to leap either.

 

Dede Westbrook is 6'0" holmes. It was a bad throw.
