    The rivalry is back on

We both have 2013’s Sporting News Executive of the Year Ryan Grigson in common though!

Randall is sad and meanwhile I'm actually feeling confident about the Jags future lol.

    - Chris Ivory was inactive. He'll be cut.
    - Allen Hurns was forced into the gameplan, Lee and Westbrook missed opportunities. They'll try and keep Robinson, move on from Lee unless he takes a very favorable deal, and Westbrook isn't good enough to be a starter, so they'll draft a guy early.
    - We're taking a tight end in the first
    - Hackett is the weakest link and will likely be fired.

Jags are going to be a REAL good team for a long time. Problem is, that division has been a pathetic piece of garbage for so long and now it's quickly about to turn into one of the better divisions in football. I have zero idea who I'd even pick to win that next year. All four teams could conceivably win it.

That's why I don't have the "Eagles can easily get back" mentality. The NFC East is such a crapshoot all the time, it's impossible to predict

I don't actually believe this until this off-season is over. I need to see that they can actually make adjustments and tough calls. And draft well

I agree. I guess the confidence factor on my end comes from the fact that the Cowboys need a QB (sorry, Dak isn't it). Redskins are going to let Kirk walk and are huge idiots for doing so and then the Giants have committed to Pat Shurmur and bringing Eli back which should be a disaster. Eagles will probably be heavily favored to win the division but as we've seen in the NFC playoffs this year, that doesn't mean shit.

I'd worry about the offensive line on the left side but outside of that, Eagles should be fine. Go OL/LB heavy this draft. Maybe some DB depth

I think Dak can be the QB of the Cowboys but they'd have to revamp like their entire team just to make it happen hahaha and that won't happen. I think they should Herschel Walker Zeke while they have the chance but I'm probably way off on that. I agree about the Redskins and Giants. Eagles should definitely be favored to dominate the NFC East, but yeah, like you said, pretty much anything can happen.

Here's a feeling I can't shake: The Jaguars aren't going to the Super Bowl because they didn't hire Chip Kelly.

The Jags don’t have many important upcoming FA, do they? Seems like they’re still in a great position going forward even if they lose Allen Robinson and have an otherwise uneventful offseason.

Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee, Aaron Colvin are the big 3. Not too bad of a position to be in.

They need to re-sign Robinson, Colvin, and Grant. Those are their only free agents this year. Fowler/Yeldon the year after. I'm more worried about who we don't cut. I'd like Hurns gone. Ivory/Parnell are must cuts for me. Hackett HAS to be fired or demoted.

You know, I would agree with this 6-8 weeks ago but Vaitai has played REALLY well after being thrown into the fire after Peters went down. He's only 24 and should get better. This isn't to say they shouldn't maybe draft a guy early there but I'm starting to think he might be able to do this long term.

LB is a major need just because you cannot rely on Jordan Hicks, as awesome as he is when he is able to play.

CB is tricky. They have Sidney Jones (21), Jalen Mills (23), Rasul Douglas (23), Ron Darby (24) all there now. Darby will get a nice long term deal in the next 18 months but the rest are under control for at least two years.

If anything, the Eagles should work on finding a slot corner. None of those guys above are inside guys. Sidney/Ron could do it but they are better suited to be outside guys. Jalen Mills needs to move to safety after McLeod leaves.

Marrone was married to Hackett in Buffalo with the same problems, I hope for the sake of you guys that he's learned enough to move on

I always assumed Hackett was just marrones puppet OC and marrone really calls all the plays, maybe it's different in jax now tho idk

Oh yeah, for sure. Though Cann is expendable imo. Fowler/Yeldon offer great depth. Interior guards are expensive and not always worth it.
