    Prestigious

Pats fans constantly trying to talk themselves out of the fact that they'll win like always is fun. Happens every year, basically. I guess when you always win you have to push down your fan ego.

Have the Pats played an offense this year that runs the RPO so heavy?

If so, how’d they do? I’m genuinely curious because I have no idea.

The Eagles do not have the best defensive line in the league.

  4. It’s pretty impressive how the Eagles have built this team. Very aggressive in the offseason without really sacrificing their future.

I gotta say that Eagles fan getting absolutely wrecked by running into the pole is hilarious

Ew. I don't understand how someone could come at Grandma Millie

I mean if you want to make your argument for the Jags or another team or two, it can absolutely be made. I'm not saying there is some wide gap between 1 and 2 (there isn't) but if I am given the choice, I would take the Eagles ten times out of ten.

They have four starting quality defensive ends that they get to rotate with Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry, Derek Barnett, and Chris Long. Not many teams have that depth. Then obviously Fletcher Cox/Timmy Jernigan in the middle is a load.

If you are comparing the Jags defense and the Eagles, I would say the Eagles are better up front while the Jags are better on the back end (and LB).

When seemingly every big game is decided by less than a TD, and with no one forgetting the Giants Super Bowls, no one in New England wants to overlook any potential loss. I don't think anyone but a total homer would say the Patriots were clearly the best team in the league this year, and the Eagles with a halfway decent performance from Foles are right there with the handful of teams where the game legitimately looks like a tossup.

Pats fans should relax. The Eagles have no one that can cover Gronk. Mychal Kendricks is too small and Malcolm Jenkins just isn't going to be able to do it. Patriots will be just fine and will put up points.

I guess, I think the majority of people always think they'll win regardless of how close or how much time is left.

  12. Gronk is probably gonna roll.

Pats will put up points. Eagles are deep enough at the skill positions that I think they'll put up big points, too. My guess is it looks a lot like New England-Carolina in SB 38 where both teams essentially trade points and a few key mistakes swing it before the last team with the ball wins. Unless Foles is off, in which case it'll be over quickly.

every team is a fraud until they beat the patriots in the super bowl

Philly fans...hows your linebacker group? Haven't seen enough of their games to know if they're good, great, or suck.

They do pretty well against it. They're pretty disciplined and don't bite too hard.

  17. For the most part good condition we lost Jordan Hicks.

Good overall. Bradham and Kendricks have been playing very well. MIKE has been a weakness with Ellerbe/Goode since Hicks got hurt. Kendricks vs. Lewis/White will be a interesting matchup.

On the smaller end but quite athletic. Similar to Jacksonville but not nearly as good (no one is). For the most part, they've played very sound/good football this year.

Got it. Yeah, i was thinking about how they may attack, and the last two Bowls they've one were huge Shane Vereen and James White games.

Eagles are definitely up there but I think the Jags will be even better next year. You realize after all these moves they still tried to sign Dontari Poe (who is a FA again this year), re-signed one tackle, drafted one guy, and attacked the position after the draft in free agency. I think the Eagles will look at this and go "we're top five, that's good, now let's address other things" while the Jags are gonna go out and put even more money and resources into it. Maybe not. But our line is in tact through next season, Fowler had a breakout year off the bench and Dareus looked better with each passing game and he also plays off the bench. Both are terrific though. Love Barnett/Cox/Jernigan

The argument applies during the draft. It applies at no other time.
