I think Bortles earned one more year by the way. I'm of the mind that the Jags front office should upgrade that receiving core. Get a true deep threat and let Bortles throw a few more downfield passes per game. Just to see what happens. If it doesn't work out, move on.

I think Bortles really solidified himself as a starter this year. With that defense and a run game like Fournette’s Bortles can be a threat.

Yeah, Bortles has one more year. Go for BPA in the 1st and do whatever you can to get Goedert in the 2nd.

Yea, I know people think the Jags don't call for more downfield throws because of Bortles but I think it's more of a personnel issue in the receiving core. They just don't have anyone they can trust to make plays down the field. The Jags have one of the more balanced offenses, but if they can get a receiver or two that can scare other teams, it'll be a whole new world(cue Aladdin music).

He was injured all year unfortunately. Doesn't he hit free agency this year though?

He could, but I’d imagine the Jags will be trying to get him back. Worst case they could always franchise him, I guess

I bet Bortles surprisingly gets an extension this offseason. haha

I don't think so. I think the Jags give him another year just to see if he continues to improve. Then he might get an extension after next season. Bortles is only 25. So it's not as if it's impossible for improvement to come. Especially if they bring everyone back, including the coaching staff. Give him some stability. He was surrounded by chaos his first couple of years. If it doesn't work out, no harm done.

Depending on how miserably cold Minneapolis will be during the Super Bowl. I might have to make a trip up north to see all the festivities.

Other than Brady, Keenum is probably the other QB people would have bet on performing well today. He's the odd one out.

I didn't really buy the Vikings defense to be honest. Not saying they weren't good, but I didn't think they were better than the Jags, Eagles, or even the Patriots defenses. Foles torched them.

Is this Pats goofball really trying to talk himself into the Patriots being underdogs against the Eagles? LMAO.

There is not a single major media outlet that will even mummer the idea that the Patriots "have no shot" against the Eagles. What a stupid thing to even say.

I'd probably cry too if I got traded from a team with no OL to maybe the best in the league

Doesn't change the fact that he was a whiny bitch in Miami but I am happy for him tbh. Hopefully he scores 3 TDs in the Bowl

Pats fans will always ignore how much love the media gives them. They'll take any positive talk about their opponents and assume that the media gives the Pats no chance to win. It happened with Jaguars. The media were saying all week that the Jags have a chance with that defense and if Bortles doesn't turn the ball over, but Pats fans wanted to act like they were the underdogs instead.
