Philly is FAR AND AWAY the more popular / marketable team lol it’s not even a question

Even this very thread has more Eagle fans than any team except maybe Steelers

 

Oh c'mon you know and I know the NFL would be a full of joy if the Vikings won. They want that Case Keenum story

 

Philly’s sports culture is a lot more widespread than Minny’s in general. They both are historic teams but the Eagles get celebrated more because the fanbase is so involved

I think you see a lot of people root against the Eagles just because Eagles fans are everywhere hahah and that turns other people off of the team.

I’ve known plenty of Eagles bandwagoners... usually no one roots for the Vikings unless they have family in Minnesota

 

Do you think that's the case for the Steelers too ? They are everywhere ! I feel like teams are hated more because of the fans than anything.

 

Yes I do haha and lots of people hate on the Steelers too.

Steelers, Patriots, Eagles, Cowboys are honestly the most popular teams if you were to ask me.

 

Giants and Packers are more popular than Eagles IMO

Idk though, I feel like with Pittsburgh and Philadelphia it's more likely that the fans of the Steelers/Eagles are fans of all the Pitt/Philly teams, whereas with Cowboys and Patriots and Seahawks it's all over the place

Granted I'm guilty since I abandoned half the Dallas teams out of hatred or annoyance, might be the first "bandwagon Texans fan" ever

 

Seahawk fans are the god damn worst.

My brother in-law is a fucking Cowboys fan but is a Phillies and Flyers fan. It drives me crazy.

 

This isn't remotely true. BUT if it was, arrogance among the favored > arrogance among the underdog.

I hate arrogance period but shit, at least be the one on top if you're gonna be boasting lol.

This isn't directed at you guys by the way. Eagles fans I know legitimately think they're going to destroy the Vikings.

 

The question that intrigued me is: who is he most unlikable team who hasn’t won a super bowl? Of course people don’t like other teams that are successful, that’s universal in almost all sports.

Oh I do too, John Ritchie was actually getting annoyed today because of fans predicting blow outs. I've come across Vikings fans thinking vthe same thing . It's just both sides.

 

The Vikings are an outstanding team, but looking more into everything I've found some bits that really work in the Eagles favor that could win them the game.

 

I don't know anybody nor have I seen a single prediction where the Eagles "destroy" the Vikings.

The way I see it, home team wins because I think the matchup overall is so closely matched. If this game was in Minneapolis then I'd take Minnesota 10/10 times.

I just think the with matchup being so closely resembled partnered with the fact that the HFA in Philly on Sunday is going to be massive, I think the Eagles win by 2-3.

I've never been a big fan of the HFA argument but after seeing various games in Seattle and seeing what a HFA it is for them and the fact that the HFA that the Eagles used to have is now starting to return (it will be bonkers on Sunday), I think that plays a major part in this game somehow.

Also, if Wentz was playing then I could absolutely see the "destroy" argument as I do think the game wouldn't have been particularly close but with Foles? Not a chance they "destroy" anybody or anything.

There’s no way the Giants have more fans nationally than the Eagles. In my experience there’s simply no way haha

Packers maybe but I’ve still known more Eagles fans (granted i lived in Maryland less than 2 hours from Philly so it makes sense)

Still though tons of Eagle fans here in Jax too! At both jobs I’ve had here I’ve worked with multiple Eagle fans.

 

Packers fans are my least favorite from personal experience, they've always been the most hostile, but that probably has a lot to do with being a Lions fan. Lots of people in MI became Packers fans after how bad the Lions have been over the years
