While that was the highest rated game (barely, over Jax/Pitt), it also suffered the biggest drop

    Saints-Vikings did a 21.8 rating -- down 23 percent from Packers-Cowboys (28.2) last year.

Its more of a testament of team prestige + star power. Minnesota is great, but largely unknown. And since they are going up against a playoff year last year that had Brady/Ben + Rodgers/Ryan...well, ratings are gonna be way off again
I dont think its that many millions though.

    This was last year:

Early game: Falcons-Packers (Fox): 46.3 million viewers

Late game: Patriots-Steelers (CBS): 48.0 million viewers

    Average viewership: 46.903 million

According to Deitsch, anything below like 44mil average would be the lowest in a while. I cant see Philly/Minny drawing that many people

    Of course...

Johnny wanted out since Gruden took the Raiders HC job. He'll probably end up there as the wideout coach.

Obviously hoping Bates is promoted, but Bowles is friends with Haley.

    Fun fact. Love this stuff.

Fun fact that was broken last year - if GB and the Giants played each other in the playoffs the winner of that game always won the Super Bowl. Although I'm not sure how many games this actually ended up being, could just be 2 (SB 42 & 46)

I remember they played the MNF game either week 1 or 2 and I thought “wow this is a really exciting team to watch” and then literally completely forgot all about them.

Fully healthy with Cook back, man that’ll be fun next year!

So the Eagles have three 4th rounders next year (we’ll technically, they have two since one is going to Miami for the Jay Ajayi trade) but the original owners of said picks were Eagles, Vikings, Pats.

So very well could end up the 30th, 31st, and 32nd pick in the fourth round.

Whatever the middle pick ends up being is the one that goes to Miami.

  14. I've been thinking about this whole dog mask thing for the Eagles game. I'm cool with it, it's playoff football. I'm just worried it may make it less loud in the stadium.

lol the eye holes are in the nostrils and from what I've read, they are extremely uncomfortable after about five minutes so I don't think you'll need to worry about that too much.

I also wouldn't worry about Philly getting up for a big game, they know what to do. Place will be bonkers.

Given that it was in 2013, should I not mention to Packers and Jets fans about who the Seahawks have as back-ups now?

seems like a fair compromise overall...McVay gets the most credit...Shurmur gets credit for keeping that offense together.
