I can't support the jags because I don't want them winning before us.

Both of my cousins are Eagles and Vikings fans so I don't want them having happiness.

    Jags 4-0*** Prestigious

Dude who cares about that haha. That’s petty. The Jags went to the AFC champ game in ‘96 and ‘99 and also had a playoff win in ‘98, it easily could have happened 20 years ago already.

At some point it’s just hard to predict which randomly good team is gonna find momentum at the right time late in the playoffs.

  3. I'm beginning to think that if Ben can put 5tds on the jags Brady will do the same

Brady won’t try Ramsey much because he doesn’t need to. Mitigating risk is how the Pats win so much, they will hit us where we are weak not challenge our best player. Brady probably knows he can win even if Ramsey plays a perfect game.

I agree. As sad as this sounds we legit need Bortles to have one of his random ass good games RIGHT NOW and that’s just probably not happening at all

Knowing the Patriots, they will take away Fournette with such precision we’ll be wondering why every team didn’t just do that (because they make it look easy.)

after watching the LA Kings and the SF Giants both win a few of their respected championships and people brag to me I have actually become team petty.

Even though I picked the Pats to win the AFC based on gut feeling, I knew I was gonna be super reluctant to stick with that prediction if the Jags beat the Steelers. I'll probably still stick with it since I have a bit of pride when it comes to these sorts of things.

But I will say this. The people spewing the "If Ben can do it, so can Brady" argument on the internet have sort of missed the point. Ben dropped 5tds on the Jags purely based on the athleticism of his receivers. Some of those catches were absolutely unbelievable because the Jags defense had them 100% covered. But that's what happens when a QB has otherworldly talent like Brown and Bell to throw to. Truth is, Ben did nothing but throw the ball up and pray to the Lord that his receivers would catch it. The Steelers normal game-plan was not working, so they switched to a high risk high reward system.

The Patriots aren't about high risk high reward game-plans. They're about efficiency with low to medium risk plays. And they don't have the talent the Steelers have on offense. They have Gronk. Don't get me wrong, Gronk is great. But I'm not entirely sure he'll be enough.

The point is, I sincerely doubt Brady is going to drop 5 touchdowns on the Jags defense. He may be the GOAT QB, but he ain't perfect and he doesn't have the perfect weapons to drop 42 on them. Maybe it'll happen if the Jags defense just falls apart under the pressure, since it's a young team. But I do think that unless Antonio Brown and Le'veon Bell show up in Patriots uniforms, Brady will have a tougher time than Ben.

To be fair, one of Bens TDs was garbage time and two were because of Antonio Brown.

I mean, it’s Colin Cowherd. I’m sure he followed that up with some extravagant analogy about how Pederson’s upbringing will be the reason he isn’t the guy. Colin is a loser.
