The Vikings held Ingram and Kamara in check pretty well though so I feel like they'd be pretty prepared for the Eagles running game.

(granted they were up 17 at the half, but there still were 21 carries between Ingram/Kamara)

 

I think a Coughlin is gonna get the most out of Caldwell though. He had a disorganized mess of value draft picks that didn’t play cohesively together / still had holes between strong points, the 2017 offseason suddenly had direction and put the pieces together.

I think Coughlin can make the tough calls in places where Caldwell doesn’t have enough on-field knowledge to do the same on his own.

 

We will see when he does or doesn't cut Ivory, Hurns, and Parnell.

Also, fuck whichever one of them said to draft Westbrook and I'm perfectly fine with either of them leaving on that basis alone.

He’s too small and he’s not better than Lee or Cole.

 

This makes sense, when you can get pressure with 4, coverage is so tight its almost always a guaranteed sack or throw away. Some of my favorite stuff from the Gregg Williams era of our defense. I like Wade a lot but he brings almost too much pressure when our D-line is so reliable and opens up the secondary easily. (that and we get toasted by screens pretty often).

Glad Fournette is okay. People in Florida are BAD FUCKING drivers. Like, I don't mean like the northeast where the drivers actually know what they're doing and just like to be assholes / play chicken with each other when it's time to merge.

I mean like, 50% of the population cannot properly change lanes, doesn't know to look over their shoulder or signal before jumping on over. My car is in the shop and legit might be totalled for this exact reason.

Fun fact, there's actually 10 major bridges in the city limits of Jacksonville:

I-295 beltway - Dames Point Bridge (Northeast corner), Buckman Bridge (connects major south suburbs Orange Park & Mandarin)
I-95 - Fuller Warren Bridge (connects San Marco to Riverside/I-10), Trout River Bridge (connects to Northside/Airport)
Downtown - Hart Bridge (green), Matthews Bridge (red), John T. Alsop Bridge (blue), Acosta Bridge (open-top with dotted lights)

And then two pretty ordinary ones that cross the intercoastal waterway east into Jacksonville Beach and Atlantic Beach. I do like living where there's water all around.

Being scared of bridges is like being scared of roller coasters. They're engineered to be safe haha. Just drive slower and pay attention you'll be okay. The roads don't "ice" in Florida. Ice is something you put in tea here.

now if this is Europe or rural Asia then we have some horrifying bridges.

 

idk man, I know most bridges (well hopefully) get checked by the state yearly, at least here in Minnesota. But since the 35W bridge collapse here still kinda freaks me out.

 

our collapsing infrastructure makes bridges scarier and scarier every year.

 

I'm scared of escalators, bridges I can do. That was actually one of the things about Pittsburgh I liked the most, all the old bridges.
