It's gonna be tough to beat them in Pittsburgh two times in a row. It's totally possible though.

 

Pitt defense is far worse than Buffalo defense, maybe we’ll get the weird Bortles who throws spirals and gets lucky on downfield throws, and not regular shitty Bortles

Steelers were 5th in the league in yards per game allowed and 7th in the league in points per game allowed

Buffalo was in the bottom half of the league in both

So hold the phone then how did Buffalo get in the playoffs? Did they just run the ball efficiently, like an insane amount?

The Bills just got lucky because the Ravens suck.

 

They played defense really well to a 5-2 start and then just kinda muddled along for 2 months to 9-7 and backdoored in thanks to Andy Dalton

 

Pittsburgh led the league in sacks this season.

 

That pisses me off so much holy shit lol. Fuck them even more than before.

i could be wrong, but weren't you talking about how cold it was in Jacksonville today because it was mid-30's and mildly windy? or am i thinking of someone else?

 

I used to live in Maryland and played sports with my friends in 20 degrees every winter. 30 is just dumb cold in Florida because it’s humid here. Im not afraid of anything above 0 degrees.

Pitts D is noticebley worse since losing Shazier but they should be more than capable of a title run. Honestly i think their biggest threat is tomlin thinking he can contain Gronk with one person.

That said, this team is so young and loaded with talent they should be able to stay a top AFC team long after roethlisberger’s gone, assuming the next qb isn’t bad. That’s admittedly a big if.

 

Bills fans general reaction when:

1) Meathead off duty cops take a bottle from McCoy's crew and then start a fight and McCoy is investigated by Philly PD: "Cut his thug ass"
2) Starting QB is shoehorned into a misfit offense and regresses predictably: "He's not a quarterback, he's not smart enough, Put in that noodle-arm walking Jar of Mayo QB we drafted in the 5th round"
3) The starting LG is an actual racist: "We love Richie he's such a hard-nosed blue collar guy."

I hate Buffalo most of the time

 

They at least have an offensive line. Most the time moving yards is just easier for them on the ground / with dumb dinky passes & they don’t lose yards. Most aggravating thing about playing them is getting called for a bunch of penalties while they dont

 

I think I like Flip + Fangio scenario the most but it seems like Pace is trying too hard pull a rams-esque turnaround out of his backside. Seems more likely than not to fail

 

I’ll take Pats, Steelers, Saints, and Falcons.

 

Who was the last MVP to be on a Super Bowl winning team? Faulk or Warner, right?

Pretty incredible how often the MVP doesn't make it to the Super Bowl and / or then loses the Super Bowl. Kind of like the Heisman winner and how they rarely make it to / win the NC.

 

That's a crazy absurd stat. And if Wentz was playing that would be another 0! Incredible. Almost like a battle of the old-timers vs the changing of the guard (except for Foles who's old and will stay a backup unless Cleveland does an LOl Cleveland)

 

Same goes for a Super Bowl hosting city never having their team make it to the BIG ONE
