We've got lots of good Buffalo fans here haha. Don't fucking know why.

Seriously did not think the away team I would encounter most in North Carolina would be Buffalo haha

 

I was kind of shocked how many were at the Falcons game early this season. It was wild.

 

The next game is the Bills game! Shit is getting real! I won't sleep tonight

 

Last year 11-5 in the NFC got you a division title and the #2 seed. This year that same record gets you the 5th seed. A little crazy.

Edit: and both of those teams were from the same division no less!

 

and friends were wondering why i didnt care about the chiefs playoff game today...or why i didnt take off work to watch... it just doesnt fucking matter anymore until we get to the AFC championship game.

this loss barely phases me. totally used to it. It's a shame though because i like Alex Smith. he's a good QB damnit... but that's obvioulsy it for him in KC. Time for Mahomes.

 

North Carolina is a HUUUUUUUGE Buffalo ex-pat area. I personally know a few people that live in the Charlotte area (a couple of teachers and a couple of BofA employees) and the Raleigh area. I've always joked that if I get sick of living in Buffalo I'm just going to pack my stuff and go to NC and open a Buffalo style pizza & wing place

Springing off the last post, the Carolinas are a real big area for people who have moved away from Buffalo. A lot of them would willingly travel a few hours to ATL to see the Bills play. There were a ton of pumped fans on the Bills board where I post when they realized there were games in both Charlotte and Atlanta this season

 

Yeah I went to the Bills game in Charlotte this season and most of the Bills fans I talked to were locals

 

I had the Chiefs and Rams winning yesterday with the Rams as the eventual SB winner (over the Jags) so yeah.... this is why I don’t gamble.

The opposite happened to me. I got tipped an insane amount by Bills fans last night at work lol. They were easily half our customers.

To them this is a family vacation they’ve waited 18 years to take, so they’re spending and everyone is like happier than Xmas morning.

Plus they all seemed to get really excited when they realized they can talk to their server about the game / football haha.

One of my customers got an extra lobster tail added to the lobster tail meal AND salad, appetizer, and dessert, and then tipped 35% on his whole family’s meal haha.

I live in Charlotte and know several Bills fans. They’re everywhere.

 

So fucking, fucking excited motherfuckers. Fuck.

Leaving for that water taxi to the stadium very soon.

 

Side note the 55 degree temps today are more like it for Florida winter haha.

I talked a big game about loving football when its cold, and that wouldn’t stop me from being out there for hours. But truth be told the humid 30 degrees we had yesterday would not be ideal stadium conditions lol. Wet cold like that seeps into all your clothes so it feels way colder than it is.

Yeah i lived in NC for twelve years and the top four teams liked by fans there were the Panthers (duh) Patriots Steelers and Bills

I saw a few pages ago someone’s asked, but I don’t think Bill would give up GM duties to go to NY. Guys a control freak.

Also, go bills!

 

I'd love DeFilipo as HC if he can put together a good staff. Retaining Fangio is key, but him not going to Green Bay is about as important to me as him staying in Chicago.

I'm open to everyone that Bears have interviewed but a little leery of Shurmur.

 

So.

Jags can definitely beat the Steelers. We can also definitely lose... but we’ve won 3 of the last 4 against them, and our last playoff win before today... was at Heinz Field in the snow.

At this point fuck it. Give me the Titans in the AFC champ round. Sit this one out, Brady. These playoffs are starting to get personal. I want my revenge for 1999.

More of a superstitious argument but still. Honestly the cold hasn’t affected the Jags as much as other south teams. Playing on the west coast is what fucks us up.
