I don't know. I think the Dolphins and Bills would both be more competitive in another division. I look at it from the other angle. Every team in the AFC East starts 0-2.

 

Any Rams fans know how Cooper Kupp has looked in TC?

I don't mind the Bills trading away Darby, who is overrated, and grabbing Gaines. But Matthews is a massive downgrade from Watkins and I don't think the picks make up for it.

 

I wish the Panthers had a CB to give up for Sammy. Adding him to Cam, McCaffrey, Benjamin would've been fun.

 

I don't love the idea of bringing in guys who are expected to be the #1 receiver for their respective teams in August.

 

No such thing as overrated corner when your corners were (as of this morning) Patrick Robinson and Jalen Mills.

Go get Kyle Fuller from the Bears now since they seem to hate him.

Because I paid for them in full not knowing that they were tanking for 2018

I don't think either moves means they are tanking though. All it says is that Watkins and Darby weren't part of their future. I wouldn't keep Watkins either. Gaines is in a contract year too but should be fairly cheap to keep around as a CB3.

 

trading players that can help you in 2017 for draft picks in 2018 is essentially tanking.

 

He was drafted into the old regime's zone defense scheme and doesn't exactly fit what fangio wants. That compounded onto his injury last year and it's not a surprise they didn't take the fifth year option. I don't really think they want to trade him until he shows what he can do this preseason/regular season though as he doesn't really carry much value..

 

Honestly, somehow, they'll probably end up trading these to Cleveland for a pick to grab a QB.
