I would similarly trade the farm if there was a truly strong QB prospect, like what you suggested throwing to the Jets. I'd honestly be happy with just a QB and then some mid round offensive linemen next year.

If we aren't trading up for a QB though, we better be using that second rounder on a safety because Gipson/Church isn't a final solution at a position you need to be elite to defend against top QBs.

The Beckham catch is so much more impressive because it had to be one-handed, Carr is holding his other arm. And he still broke free and made the extended catch



Like, that Nuk catch is awesome, but, beckhams is a true one-hander, and that he stayed in-bounds is beyond insane with carr draped on him

 

He catches it with one hand and it stays in one hand. I wonder what team Hopkins will be on next year

That's a great catch but I stand by the fact that anyone in this thread could make a one handed catch against the Colts DBs

 

Hopkins has the advantage of the DB he was against being the best DB of the 3 but Beckham has the advantage of the overall difficulty of the catch. He had to catch it with 2 fingers, while being interfered with, continue his momentum enough to get the touchdown, and keep his entire body in bounds while riding the sideline.

 

Really if someone put a gun to my head and made me choose between which play I'd want to have witnessed in my life I'd say "yes" because all 3 are phenomenal

two examples of plays I'm talking about, back-to-back, where Lee has shown he can win at the catch point and not just with his speed. (Ignore the first checkdown to Ivory).

I know a good play is just a good play but he seemed to make those grabs regularly last year. With ARob being double covered every down Bortles actually hit Lee on more of those 50/50 balls against single coverage. Some of them were ill advised of course - but it's beginning to become a trend that Lee usually makes the most out of whatever pass/coverage he's dealt.

Hoping for a breakout season from him, especially since Hurns is likely going to fall behind due to injury. Lee has all the WR skills I want to see - smooth route running with no loss of momentum during cuts; great at getting YAC and dodging defenders/avoiding squared-up tackles; great footwork on the sideline; high points the ball naturally; and has enough speed to be a deep threat.

 

Yeah, I need Lee to breakout so Westbrook bolts asap.
