I would hate to see Lane Kiffin go back to Tennessee. That wouldn't be good for him or the fanbase - they'd be far too split on bringing him back.

I want Jimbo Fisher to go to Texas A&M and Kiffin to Florida State.

Kelly should go to UCLA. It will be harder for him to win at Florida.

 

I still think Tennessee should go after Tee Martin, but I think they'll hire Mike Norvell away from Memphis.

 

Why on earth would Fisher leave FSU for A&M? And Kiffin to FSU would be hilarious.

Agreed with Kelly though. UCLA would be perfect for him.

 

A lot of rumors floating around that Fisher wants that A&M job if it opens up. No idea why he'd want it.

 

I completely agree with that.

 

FSU is a job I'd want sooo badly as a coach, there's no reason I could imagine jimbo leaving on his own.

 

Tennessee's fanbase at large will have a meltdown if we hire a coach from a school like Memphis (Butch Jones from Cincinatti, Dooley from LA Tech seem like very similar hires). Which means it's exactly what's going to happen.

 

I think we'll see a hire today or at least the beginning of that process, I'll probably be completely wrong but whatevs

 

That Derek Dooley hiring is one of the worst ever. He had a losing record at Louisiana Tech.

His father is the only reason he was a head coach anywhere.

Butch Jones is awful, but at least he was very successful at Central Michigan and Cincinnati.

 

That's crazy to me. Though I'm seeing that's from Clay Travis. Isn't he not trustworthy?

 

Agreed. And Butch Jones lost to Dooley while at Cincinnati, which should've been damning enough. But the AD who hired both of them is no longer around for an obvious reason.

I think without Dobbs, Hurd/Kamara, Barnett, and Sutton, the years under Butch would've looked vastly different. We're seeing just how much those players did (and AJ Johnson before he was kicked off the team) now that they're gone to cover the bleeding.

 

Travis just sort of jumped on it. It's been talked about for months now.

Nebraska is apparently considering Niumatalolo and Monken from the service academies.

I think my favorite part about that would be that Tanner Lee isn't good enough to run that offense not because he can't run but because he can't pass.

 

Nebraska would have to have outstanding marks in defensive recruiting to be competitive with that offense in major college football.

It is my favorite offense, but if you get down early, it's over 9 times out of 10. They'd obviously just be the midwest version of Georgia Tech.

but you can't go 7-9 in college
