Man, I love watching these blowout games where Tua comes in and does work. I wish we could beat the shit out of Auburn and LSU like we just did Ole Miss and Vandy.

 

That is my hey-day of college football. I was in my early 20's and each saturday would spend like 10+ hours watching football with a couple of my friends. It was glorious.

 

Corvallis, Oregon fucking sucks.

That little town was a shitshow to get out of after the game tonight. Anyways, I was listening to the Oregon game on my long drive home and heard the news on Herbert and Freeman....

Sounds like both are going to be out for 6-8 weeks, so pretty much the season.

 

Haven to seem definitive news from their beat people but yea, their season is basically over. They'll be lucky to get two more wins to get to a Bowl. Injuries everywhere. Half their team is gonna be fresh and walk ons, it was already a quarter of that before this lol

 

Man, that's a real bummer for Freeman.

 

The silly part about that is when Alie got hurt last night after Herbert went down, they had to bring in Braxton Burmeister and burn his redshirt because they had no one else.


They didn’t want to play him this year.

 

Well, you have no choice when all three backup qbs transfer because they can't win the job. It's gonna happen more and more because kids know they need the opportunity to try to make the pros.

 

Hello, the football team that I root for, Auburn, does not look terrible anymore.

 

3rd best team in the SEC and it's not debatable. Everyone under them is not to be taken seriously at all.

 

Wisconsin and Nebraska isn't televised for me. I'm torn between thinking that is bullshit and thanking them for not making me watch that beatdown.

 

my bias is telling me tied for 2nd with Georgia. Both our offenses still have things to figure out, but I guess since we have a loss and they don't I can take 3rd.

 

Chip Kelly to coach here has picked up some ridiculous steam in the last 24 hours.

I hope so. The problem with the SEC lately is that everyone is hiring 2nd and 3rd tier coaches, and even more so, hiring Saban assistants. They need a big splash of proven talent. Kelly would be awesome. (except wait a year to get good please, Auburn plays Tennessee next year.)
