If WSU gets blown out in the Apple Cup again this year, I think that's it for Leach---whether they can him or he takes another job. For his cringeworthy opinions and his general dipshit demeanor, he's still got things that college football teams want for whatever reason, he will have a job in a P5 conference as long as he wants one.

    Also, Spokane/Pullman is gross.

While it's a good move it would be stupid to come out the other way, I'd think recruits would really hate that.

  13. Whispers that Butch could be fired if Saturday goes poorly (which it will).

Also whispers of Jim Bob Cooter being a candidate to replace him.

I will have the strongest emotional conflict of my life if we somehow beat Georgia (we won’t, but even when we suck that game tends to be thrilling).

Tenn fans should pray they get absolutely obliterated Saturday.

Wonder if the FBI basketball findings lead to anything for the football teams or other sports of those schools.

I absolutely love the hot seat carousel involving Butch Jones, Kevin Sumlin, Bret Bielema, and even Jim McElwain. It's like each week they pass a torch to someone in the group and that person just has to set their chair on fire.

Brian Kelly. It's not McElwain's time yet. But if he sticks by his OC then it'll be his time soon.

Brian Kelly is not on the hot seat. They pretty much overhauled their coaching and training staffs this season.

Well, I was going all SEC in this hot seat discussion.

But I believe Florida is keeping a close eye on McElwain's performance as HC. They've got to be fed up with his inability to put together an offense. It's week 5 and they're still scratching their head regarding the QB situation. That's not good at all. Florida came extremely close to losing to Kentucky for the first time in like 30 years or something. To me, McElwain would surely be on the hot seat if Kentucky pulled it off.

I think Bielema is the big loser of last weekend. You can argue Butch though. Honestly, I think Butch will claim sole possession of that title once he further embarrasses Tennessee this week against UGA.

If you mean hot seat purely as at risk of losing his job this year, sure. I take that to mean your job is by no means safe.

I think Brady Hoke tried this and was still canned one season later.

I don't think that has anything to do with Brian Kelly's situation.

I take hot seat as likely to be fired or in some cases trending towards dismissal. It just depends on the context, I suppose. And I don't think that applies to Kelly right now.

I hate Brady hoke, he's also a far and away worse coach than Kelly so it's silly to compare it
