lol I knew the ducks were gonna lose tonight, I didn't say it though because people would quote me from 5 pages back even though they narrowly beat Nebraska by a fluke. It's hard to suddenly play a late game after playing three early games and nonetheless on the road.

 

they should not have been ranked this week. i know it was only #24, but fuck they haven't beaten anyone and haven't proven anything. keep the far, far away from the rankings. still gonna finish 6-6 at best.

 

At the very best they'll probably make a bowl, which is a big step in one year. Oregon beatwriters definitely have a way of jinxing anything good that could happen ever lol

 

Georgia and VT should both be top ten after this week.

 

VT is interesting for sure.

 

They are probably my top choice for a dark horse playoff team. We gotta see how they look next week though. Either way, they are one of the only teams that haven't looked like absolute ass for most of a game this year.

Arizona has the #3 offense in the country.
Florida State has the #1 defense in the country, followed by UCF. UTSA is #5.
Virginia has the third best quarterback in the country and Ball State has the best pass rush.

i feel like they need to stay out of the rankings and out of any sort of spotlight. let them be and let them grow. putting them in the rankings make them a "favorite" and i don't think they should be a "favorite" against Arizona State or any other team the remainder of the year. they're improving, but not a top 25 football team.
