The Pelini-era, which literally ended this year lol.

Mike Riley is one of the only coaches to ever beat a top two opponent three years running. He was competitive at Oregon State also. Not to mention the fact that he was less than 20 seconds away from a 10 win season his first year with Nebraska.

 

He's not gonna get fired lol he'd have to have back to back losing seasons first

Frank Solich and Bo Pelini never had losing seasons and were fired. Hell one was in a National Championship game. Isn't Riley in the last year of his deal?

Riley's deal runs through 2020, and the papers seem to think it could be 2021 if he ends the year on a high note.

Pelini was not very good. Solich also was not very good. Sure, they won games. Pelini failed in every big opportunity though and was immensely hot-headed. Solich rode out Osbourne's success and shouldn't have even gone to the title game that year.
