Anyone else not watch Louisville at all this year?*

I'd love it and am rooting for it.

    The rivalry is back on

I think Louisville wins, but I also am good at picking big games wrong, so we'll see

Pointing out that Clemson hasn't played anyone good when they shut down Auburn is a weird point. Louisville hasn't played anyone good and they haven't looked good while doing it.

If Auburn isn't good then neither is Louisville.

Clemson's defense is too good for Louisville to win, even with Lamar Jackson picking right up where he left off.

To be fair, that's what happens when you play middle of the pack teams, struggle, then get called elite. They closed out the season strong and obviously the post-season speaks for itself though.

Clemson did face the third or fourth toughest schedule, depending whether you're pulling data from Sagarin or CFB Reference. Even if you want to isolate just regular season data, they faced teams that were about 5.5 points better than the average FBS School, per CFB Reference. I think their 'struggles' against competition were overblown. I mean, Troy wasn't exactly a slouch of a team. They finished 10-3 and were about 4 points better than the average team last year. That doesn't make them world-beaters -- best teams in this metric are typically 10+ points better than average -- but it does help make a narrow escape make more sense.

Is Lamar Jackson a sure thing to go pro after this season? Like, he wouldn't stay would he? I ask this only because Alabama opens with Louisville next year and he's the type that would give them fits.

I mean it would be great but I doubt he stays, hes a top 5 lock. Maybe even he had a horrendous second half or something

  25. With how strong the QB class looks right now, and considering he'd greatly benefit with another year experience, I think the smartest move would be to stay in. But I'm never against a player going to early to get his money. Too much risk of injury. Especially for a guy that plays his like him.
