    Georgia? Bold pick, Cotton.

We reach for the longest shadow

Georgia could trip into Atl with one loss and a possible win against a decent notre dame, but i dont see georgia beating whoever gets to the championship game from the west, whether that is bama, auburn, or LSU.

The Tennessee-Georgia game is probably the game I'm looking forward to/dreading the most as a Vol fan after how last year's ended.

    my playoff projection will be:

Bama (as much as i hate it)
    USC
    Oklahoma
    FSU

I guess my main question about USC is this....

if the role was flipped and Penn State won that Rose Bowl game, is everybody still pumping USC as the Pac-12 favorite? I feel like a lot of their hype was because of how exciting (no defense?) that game was and how it ended.

They have all of the hype because they have the best quarterback in college football.

    The rivalry is back on

UGA went 8-5 last year with a freshman QB and only lost one player good enough to be drafted. So I think they improve pretty substantially. The O-line is a giant question mark, but I think the skill players and defense are good enough to be very scary.

I think they drop one, make the SEC Championship, and redeem themselves from that game a few years back and beat Bama.

  9. It's definitely because of the Darnold hype which I'm buying into. They'll have the ability to outscore any team so not worried about lacking on defense. Same thing goes for Penn State. Their offense will be lethal.

I understand that but are we just batting an eye at the fact that they lost 3/5 of their starting OL, #1 RB, #1 & #2 WRs, and #1 TE? Obviously USC is always going to be chock full of talent because they are well...USC but that'd worry me a bit.

Lucky for them, the Pac-12 South is going to be dreadful and they'll likely stroll into the Pac-12 Title game by Week....7 or 8 or so.

USC didn't lose thier #1 RB and they have never given us any reason to doubt their receivers are anything but a revolving door of great athletes.

I'm just so excited for this year. I don't even know what I expect to happen. Can't wait.

I did mis-speak there, I forgot about Jones. At any rate, I'm more than okay with the warp speed hype train on USC in the Pac-12. I prefer to just stay down in the weeds anyway.

East Carolina, Tulane, Tulsa, Syracuse, Duke, Rutgers, Old Dominion, North Texas, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, Rice, Army, UMass, Kent State, Buffalo, Ball State, New Mexico, Air Force, UNLV, San Jose State, Arizona, NMSU, Georgia State, ULM.

Those are the only teams I'm not interested in this year. Seriously haven't looked forward to a season of football (college and NFL) this much ever.

And I'm sure @Night Channels will be right around to tell me why I should be interested in at least a couple of these teams haha.

I don't know how I'm supposed to work when a real game is happening tonight. Tomorrow will be even worse.

I can already hear the laughter from the bartenders when I ask them to put on UCF vs. FIU.

Old Dominion redshirt freshman QB Balls McGee is one to watch, for sure. Especially when they travel to Northern Virginia State (Community College) in Week 9.

I think this is a joke but there's a defensive linemen named Dee Liner so who the fuck knows any more. This is the age of Tight end Butt and Haha Dicks.

Y'all out of your mind picking Penn State. They were so fun to watch last year but big plays have big regression each year, something they thrived off of. If anyone makes the playoffs out of the Big Ten, it'll be Ohio State. Their toughest games are Penn State (at home) and Michigan (road) and I think they can win both of those, but at worst, will likely split those games. I think one loss is good enough to get them into the playoff.

Balls McGee is the greatest name of any athlete ever if true.

News on once the clouds are gone. Prestigious

The big 12 is kind of underrated, I think wvu and tcu will be a lot better. Kansas state too, I believe they were playing like three inexperienced qbs last year. I think they're gonna mess with one another too much to make a playoff spot. Oklahoma lost mixon, perine, Westbrook but there's still talent there. I'd take ok state might just be a little better but they'll probably fart in week 2. At least Baylor sucks.

I totally forgot UT, they should be better with Herman but I don't think they can win the division.

Big 12 needs to play defense before I really care much about ranking any of them in my Top 4.
