I’m hoping the Tee Martin conversation is about him coming over as OC/AHC. I still think best case scenario for them is Miles as HC and then Martin underhim.

 

This is what I desperately want.

Yes, but i believe it wasn't from a legitimate reporter. It was from an alum who was just giving his opinion a lot of the time, not sure if it did happen. Wouldn't surprise me though.

 

Because credited reporters have been so good the last 10 days in reporting coaching changes....

That's true. I was just following it from the perspective of someone from Tallahassee during the Bowden regime and watching Jimbo Fisher get handpicked and groomed to take over for one of the most legendary coaches in the game only to then let the program descend into an undisciplined shitshow and then whine and leave for more money the second things aren't easy anymore.

That's like, it though. Haven't heard anything about Taggart or anything other than the two years of rumors that he would take the FSU job if Fisher left.

 

I'm not throwing shade at you Julian I'm throwing shade at the state of journalism in general. There's about 10,000 fans masquerading as journalists. I was one of them for like nearly 2 years.

 

I have the worst feeling about him tbh. I think this is another 5-and-out deal.

 

He's 59 and 9-36 as a HC ... he might be the least qualified candidate.

Edit: OMG he had a 1-31 conference record. UT just came off an 0-8 conference record season ... and he did that three times in four years. Yikes.

In one easy picture this is what happened

He left kids in the dark for two weeks as all these rumors were coming as well as his players and his staff, he basically stopped doing his job and then used their money to meet with FSU to discuss the contract. I understand leaving and being your dream job but do it till the deal is done and don't mess with Hs kids, it's really wrong. These kids are heartbroken, he could've been more honest and upfront with everyone but like every other job he lied through his teeth. Jimbo did his job until he was gone and didn't burn all these kids.
