I don't think those candidates are better, some are lesser than sumlin IMO

Also Wilcox buyout is pretty high

 

only one i would consider possibly as a lesser is holgo, who i would just personally prefer and i can't really articulate why.

buyouts are whatever. it's oregon. phil would pay for the right guy. idk if that guy is necessarily wilcox, but i don't see that being an issue

 

Wilcox's buyout is 2.7M. Phil Knight shits that out every morning. If they want Wilcox to come home, that'll happen.

Sources tell FootballScoop Fulmer has met (or spoken with)…or has meetings set with Georgia defensive coordinator Mel Tucker, Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables, SMU head coach Chad Morris and former LSU head coach Les Miles.

Source tells FootballScoop Fulmer would like to have his man on board by the end of the day tomorrow; it remains to be seen if that will be accomplished.

If this situation is similar to the last week or so, then there’s a zero % chance this is true.

 

I would love Kiffin there. He needs to be in the Power 5, but he doesn't need to be like in a top tier high expectation place. I think Arkansas is a good fit, but I just don't know if Lane would want to live in Arkansas.

 

Tennessee has had so many hiccups throughout this coaching search and now they have that long list? Man, they really need to pick a Lane.

Well, when they hired schiano you had no idea it was coming. I knew he was a heralded candidate on a long list but I just made a guess about who they'd pick.
