Coming soon to the CarpetElf Football league: Wins and losses no longer matter. Instead, a panel of five judges will grade each team's performance from 0.0 to 10.0. At the end of the season, the teams with the highest scores make the playoffs! This ensures the best looking teams get rewarded, because remember at the end of the day its not about if you win or lose its about how good you look doing so.

Note that even playoff games will follow this spectrum. Really, the goal is to find the best team in the league. So even if the other team scores more points, if you were the better team and just got cheezed by some dumb call or fluke play, you can still win the game if the judges score you high enough!

I mean, you could engage like an adult and explain to me why struggling against losing teams on a regular basis isn't indicative of a pattern and why it's a bad thing to blowout every opponent but one. You could, you know, counter these points I've raised instead of blatantly mocking and misrepresenting my point as if Miami isn't doing exactly what the fuck I'm saying they would right now lol.

 

They just look slow. I'm not sure how much of that is me projecting my opinion of Wisconsin's brand of football vs. the reality, but Ohio State is just playing faster.

I never said blowing out every opponent but one is bad. Its just irrelevant if another team has the same win loss record, has beaten similar quality opponents, and won their conference title.

How a team looks in their games is like the 4th thing you should look at when picking playoff teams. You want to make it the first or second.
