We reach for the longest shadow

I'm going to choose to believe that it will happen until I'm proven otherwise. It's gonna be at least 2-3 more years though.

I want all the truth to come out on this search and hopefully it went down like this...

Jon Gruden: "Hello Mr. Currie. Tell me more about this HC vacancy. I'm interested."

    John Currie: "Next"

Jeff Scott would take over and still be the GOAT with southeast recruiting.

I really don’t think Dabo has any reason to leave. Clemson is a powerhouse and they have one of the nicest facilities in college sports.

They can consistently compete for titles in the ACC. Coaching in the SEC would make it harder to get there.

I get that’s where he started and that Bear Bryant is his hero, but the dude has it all at Clemson. His kids are all going to play there as well.

All of this makes me want to play NCAA Football on Xbox. The coaching carousel is interesting.

We’ve talked about this in here before, but I still play NCAA Football 2006 on PS2.

My Wofford Terriers are in the SEC now.

I think Dabo is the 2nd best coach in the country these days. Honestly, him already winning at Clemson and beating Bama would be more impressive than him showing up to Bama and winning. Nobody wants to live in Saban's shadow. If he didn't win a title within his first three years, the pressure would mount up and he'd be run out of town. He doesn't need to sabotage his own career.

Wow. That's awesome. Props to you. I definitely miss the FCS schools being in the old ones.

I especially enjoy the latest one and being able to start out as a OC/DC somewhere small and moving up.

Plugging this shit in tonight. Was gonna be productive but it took me an hour to get home from work and that shit just isn't cool, yo.

No one move here. Everyone stop moving here right now.

He has a chance to catch and surpass Saban at Clemson. Maybe even Bryant.

There’s no reason for him to leave unless things fall apart.

Guys. Fulmer back officially in a Tennessee role (that he should’ve had years ago) makes my heart a flutter. Even if he fails, he’s home. I always believed we did him wrong. Hopefully this can right the ship.

I played hockey for like 20 years. No desire to play football haha. Love watching it though.
I play NCAA 14 a lot. Only console game I still play. Best part is a buncha nerds online still make rosters and I can download them and use them in dynasty mode. Dates are wrong but doesn’t matter to me.

Of course he’s a jackass. He’s a D1 Head Coach. You don’t get to that level, make that kind of money, and not be looking out for yourself and yourself alone. I always chuckle when coaches talk about loyalty in a sport where everyone but their players is getting paid.

I am jealous. I always wanted to play hockey, but growing up in the south it was really expensive. My parents always promised if I made good grades, they'd let me but since I was a lazy student it never panned out. Nebraska football and Red Wings hockey were my passions growing up.

Yes! Interesting enough, Shawn Alexander was the first player to be featured on both an NCAA cover and Madden game later on.

Man, I'd kill for EA to make NCAA again. I enjoyed these games so much. I loved recruiting and making schools like Kentucky and Vanderbilt championship programs.

I don't know how my parents afforded my brother (9 years older than me) and myself to play hockey. His high school hockey fees were like 2,500 and that was in the mid-90's. Add on another like 500-800 for me, plus equipment and it's just so expensive.
I'm in the camp of "college coaching contracts don't matter" until I read this. That is asinine. I mean, it won't hinder A&M from moving on from Fisher if it all goes wrong, but good lord.

The ACC is definitely a conference on the rise, the job is still great either way.

Big Ten is on the rise imo. ACC needs a year cause so much of their mid-level talent relies on upperclassmen.

Yeah, and people want to blast him for being disloyal or some shit. Jimbo is a huge winner in my book, particularly after this. What a champ.
