He was so fun to watch in college. I was so excited for him to come to Detroit. I’m a big lions fan unfortunately, so my last memories of him are very very very bad haha

My very first one was TJ Duckett at Michigan state because he went to high school about 15 mins from me. The game with 1 second hometown clock against Michigan is burned into my mind. Loved Duckett and convinced myself he was gonna be the best running back in nfl history.

    Rob Dayne, too.

Charles Rogers was so much fun to watch. I wish he could've gotten his act together.

Understandable. Those lions teams. Yeesh. He’s always been super easy to love, though. If I recall correctly he had a great article on the player’s tribune website but I might be mixing him up with someone else.

Oh man. When I was a freshman in high school we had a RB named Kelly Baraka who was going to go to U of M after being a top 15 recruit nationally. Kelly beat Charles Rogers for the state title in the 100 meter dash as a senior.

Then Kelly got busted with weed three times before the college season started and he was booted out of school. Then mike hart took over that starting RB role in the same class Kelly was supposed to be in.

Matt Mauck was the first favorite I ever watched live. My first favorite ever though...

I think I remember that article. He was always a super awesome guy, was a professional and so lovable. I just wish his talent translated to the NFL, he would've been my favorite player probably ever had it.

And fuck Mike Hart forever for starting the little brother shit, but also thank you Mike Hart for giving Dantonio the fuel to motivate every single MSU player every year in that game

Pretty much the mid '90s is when I got hooked on college football. Warrick Dunn, Peter Warrick, Autry Denson, Ron Paulus, Quentin Jammer, Charles Woodson, Tim Biankabatuka, Mike Alstot, Drew Brees, Peerless Price, David Boston, Eddie George, etc. Those are some of the guys that stuck out from various years for me growing up.

Woodrow Dantzler. He was so damn good.
Peter Warrick was gonna get a star in the nfl in my mind.

He was so good in college. He played in the wrong era and got drafted to the wrong team. Peter Warrick today would be a lot of fun in the NFL, and college too for that matter.

Who are the non-verified accounts UT fans are posting? Are they with one of the recruiting services covering UT, SB Nation, etc? Just curious about that. Not that being verified is the end all, but it at least comes with some level of instant credibility. I only ask because reports seem to be pretty varied still.

A lot of our local media people aren’t verified surprisingly. But they’re all reporting he’s turning it down right now.

They're going to end up with something like Gangrel, from WWE fame when this is all said and done. Good god.

I work in retail and the amount of middle aged white women discussing this coaching search makes me proud to live in Knoxville. At the end of the day, I’m just glad to know other fans care and want better. It’s nice. A lot of other things feel so divided these days.
