Yeah, I clicked on the article but the tweet they are referencing was from early this morning, so I'm sure things have transpired since then.

 

Agreed. Of course I'm gonna throw my boy PJ Fleck in there too; I think his recruiting prowess is as good as anyone's in the game. As a scheme guy, he's lacking, but he was always good at knowing where his strength lies.

Ngl, I had to look up where Fleck went, I forgot hahaha. I think Fleck's expectations were a little too high this year but in the long run he's gonna be annoying for me.

Haha, that's understandable. They had a good stretch in the middle of the season but he's got a 2-3 year rebuild before he's really contending for the division crown. If he doesn't bolt before then, though, I firmly believe they'll be in the hunt sooner than later.

Yeah, for quite awhile Shaun Alexander was pretty much the legendary alumni figure fans would talk about. Especially when he was making his mark in the NFL. He's gotten lost in the shuffle in recent years since guys like Ingram, Trent, Yeldon, Henry, etc... started setting rushing and TD records of their own. But to me, Alexander was every bit as good as those guys were and it is unfortunate he didn't get to play in a golden era of Bama football.
