My friend is not happy about the Brohm hire. He expected a 2-year "trial" deal (lol) and says Brohm was only successful because Purdue is in a weak conference. I then reminded him that Purdue beat more SEC teams than Tennessee did this year.

 

They're getting gruden dude

 

I'm totally on board with Brohm.

 

This particular person is just worried about recruits decommitting now, which happens with any coaching change.

Brohm took over a Purdue team that had not won more than three games since 2012 and made immediate improvements. The team finished 6-6 and remained competitive in games against Louisville and Wisconsin while also knocking off Missouri by a score of 35-3.

Brohm arrived at Purdue after posting a 30-10 record over three seasons with Western Kentucky.

Brohm is a good hire.

Brohm would be better than Tee honestly.

Tee is a great recruiter that will have to adjust his coaching ability.

That’s awesome. Love hearing stories like that. Shaun Alexander is a name I haven’t heard in forever.

 

Brohm and Matt Campbell are two current head coaches that I think people will look back on and be like “wish we would’ve gotten to them first.” Think both are great.

 

Love Brohm and Campbell. Only one of those Group of Five coaches I liked more is Fuente. Also, Mendenhall deserves some credit for what he's doing in Virginia right now.
