  3. I’m gonna say top 3 win this week. Ohio State beats Wisconsin. Alabama slides in.

    Clemson over Alabama
    Oklahoma over Auburn

    Oklahoma over Clemson

    SEC Champ is in.
TCU or Ohio State can win and get Bama in.
TCU AND Ohio State can win and get Miami in

UCF currently projected to play either Ohio State or Georgia.

Well, it has to end sometime, may as well send it all crashing down.

  6. Miami deserves to be in if they beat Clemson. They shouldn’t require any more help. They get in. Clemson falls out.

They do not deserve to get in based on that alone. Alabama is the better team.

Wisconsin could beat OSU. But at the same time, they are the LSU of the Big Ten. Hornibrook could exist too.

  10. Miami would have the worse loss but they’d have two wins that are better than Bama’s best win.

  11. Wisconsin could win because Ohio State is obviously beatable. They got blown out by Iowa.

I've never been a fan nor a believer in teams who struggle against weak teams.

Miami or Alabama debate is very good. I take Miami and set the precedent about winning the conf championship as the tie breaker if its close.

    Better team. Always.

Penn State didn't deserve it last year.

  15. I wish it could set up for an Auburn v Oklahoma title game. I think those are the two best teams right now and would make for a great game.

    1. Clemson
    2. Oklahoma
    3. Wisconsin
    4. Georgia

Perfect situation imo. Gives us Clemson vs. Georgia and Oklahoma vs. Georgia. Would be excellent games.

its tough because Miami is like Wisconsin in the sense that they're in the wrong division of their conference. They didnt have to play NC State or Wake or hell even louisville or florida state. They're wisconsin except they beat Notre Dame (and lost to Pitt)

but Miami key wins; Clemson, Notre Dame, Va tech. alabama key wins; LSU, miss state

Can they really take Alabama when they didnt have to beat the 1st or 2nd best team in their conference?

I think its a good debate.

I'm taking Miami but wont be mad either way. I'll take the team that won their conference, has better wins.

I honestly don't think the debate even exists. Miami played down to their competition for half of the year. Alabama definitively beat everyone but their one loss. And losing to a top five team is a far better indicator of talent than losing to a team with a losing record.

If this happened to Miami early in the season it would be one thing but their struggles were pretty consistent, plus losing to Pittsburgh to close out the year is a bad look.

Miami wolloped Notre dame and Va tech and... in this scenario... will have a big win over Clemson. Alabama's thing is that they killed mediocrity all year. They only barely got by Miss St (their 2nd hardest game of the year)

Alabama killed it against mediocrity...as they should. Miami struggled and had to overcome it more often than not. The entire month of October plus half of November. Alabama's one blemish would be against the number one team in the country while Miami's would be against a losing team featuring poor wins against Florida State (losing team), North Carolina (losing team), Syracuse (losing team), Georgia Tech (losing team), and Virginia (losing team).

Their big wins show they are a very good team but the rest of their wins show they are very flawed. All Alabama's loss shows is they aren't the best team in the country. I would rather give a team whose only misstep was against the #1 team. Logically, of course. Emotionally, I want a Georgia/Wisconsin championship.

this makes me think of Arizona State. the admins were like, "7-5 is not good enough! we can be better!" and everyone thinks Sumlin, who is like the current king of 7/8-5 seasons will be their next coach :eh:

  25. I’m with you on Miami getting in but saying “they didn’t have to play NC State or Wake” is irrelevant. Those are two mediocre teams. I know NC State is ranked but they haven’t beat a good team all season. Their best win is Louisville and that’s a stretch to be considered a big win.
