  1. Brandon Harris leading UNC to the ACC title.

Incorrect. Harris might not even lead them to being the best team in the Triangle.

  3. Championship.

Harris couldn't make LSU look like anything but butt. UNC isn't going to fair much better.

    Eight team playoff.

    64 team league.

Boom. College football is fixed and we don't ever have to watch ULM play Rutgers in the Big Daddy Bowl

I think a promotion/relegation system on top of that would be so cool in NCAA football

I would LOVE that. Cause really, we don't need 1285780980 teams. Most of those teams only survive because big schools buy wins. FBS at 64, FCS at 64, something like 6 or whatever get relegated and promoted based on certain parameters.

If you take away teams, you take away a lot of opportunity and scholarships for young men to get an education.

There has to be a safer, less exploitative way of getting people educated. Such as already having the money to do so before saving millions annually.

Do keep in mind this is a fantasy situation. In my fantasy situation our school system isn't completely fucked. And there's the alternative of not taking away teams and just relegating them. Like, there's no real argument for Charlotte being on equal value of UNC haha. Take them to some developmental or regional league.

Naturally, "Penn State's Franklin gets new $34.3M deal" and "Ex-Vandy player Banks gets 15 years for rape" are headlines on the same day.

I remember Anton mentioned that franklin was shitty to him because of something miniscule once haha

I did a mock consulting project for the Vandy football team and James Franklin came and talked to us and he seemed pretty cool. But I had a Vandy football player doing the project with me and he said he wasn't actually pretty cool.

I still am not 100% certain if he made hackenberg worse or o brien made hackenberg good

Franklin was recruiting one of our kids and got mad at our athletics secretary when she told him he was committed to Clemson and wasn't considering any more visits.

So he reported this sweet 60 year old black woman to the school district for being a racist against blacks.

A 64 team FBS system would fucking suck. I know i'm in the minority but there is nothing more interesting to me than mid-major college football. I'll watch a random C-USA game over the vast majority of the P5 match ups.

Now, are you saying you'd rather watch Middle Tennessee play Western Kentucky? Or are you saying you'd rather see Southern Mississippi play Auburn? Huge difference, which is my point. Following these small conference within their division is fun but in the grand scheme it's largely meaningless. The amount of bowl games is comical and pointless. Like what is really gained by watching Old Dominion play Army in the Texas State Teacher's Financial Credit Union of Lubbock Bowl? Especially with more players sitting them out because they ultimately mean nothing.

If you had 64 teams in the main league, you've got a larger playoff pool plus the bottom of the league games actually matter with relegation. Then there's the fact that you have half the amount of teams competing for the same pool of players. You'll have a lot less Alabama vs. Clemson's because teams are more talented. Plus the you'd still have the bottom leagues as well. It's basically like arguing the EPL would be better if all the teams played together.

i currently like the way it is.. i've also been in favor of 6 or 12. For some reason i've always been stark anti-8. I'd like for there to be reward for top teams (a bye) and i think 8 doesn't really accomplish anything. Most seasons there's really only like ONE team that gets screwed, not 4.

at least with 6, we reward the top 2 teams with a bye...and with 12, we reward the top 4 teams and integrate stuff like "conf champions get auto bid' and a mid-major 'gets auto bid'.

I'm weird with that but i just hate 8. 4, 6, 12 all gets thumbs up from me.

also very excited we're only 2 weeks away!!

would you guys advocate going to a random college football game? I've never been to one and i was considering going to a UCLA or USC game while i'm vacation in Cali. Is it worth it for the experience or eh?

Like, to me, baseball stadiums are a no brainer, and i know certain college football experiences are no brainers..

okay so i guess do you guys think UCLA or USC home games are worth it to a non UCLA/USC, but big college football fan? Stanford/USC or Hawaii/UCLA

I would absolutely go to a UCLA or USC game. Hell, I'll be going to a couple Charlotte games while I'm here. I love experiencing different towns and stadiums on Gameday.
