Mayfield acts like an idiot and has this stupid, barbaric, tough guy strut he does among the sideline. The Maty Mauk-like do-rag headband thing doesn't do him any favors either. I really wish someone would clothesline him one day.

With that said, I don't see how anyone else can win the Heisman this year. This guy is consistently amazing each week. Heisman folks didn't care about character issues when they gave it to that chump Jameis, no reason for them to start caring at this point.

Trash talking, being arrogant and being flamboyant is one thing. Grabbing your dick and saying fuck you, is another. He crosses that line, in my opinion, and does it often enough to believe its a character flaw. Its too bad. Its clouding people's judgement of him.

 

Completely disagree that it's clouding people's judgement of him. The amount of just vile, awful people that are revered in sports by the industry and fans alike is a long, long list.
