Um, if the Sooners lose to Kansas they wouldn't be the 4th seed anymore.

You just ignoring his massive success at one of the toughest jobs in the country (Stanford) and the fact that they lost a lot on defense and their starting QB?

 

He basically has the same record as Hoke through 3 years.

Yeah it sucks that we lost so many starters but he didn't win anything last year either.

 

What he did with Rudock was wildly impressive though, for sure.

I'm not saying Michigan won't win anything in the next few years but he's overrated and massively overpayed and I don't see how that's debatable at this point.

 

Holy cow. He turned Stanford into a national team, took the 49ers to the Super Bowl, and has two 10 win seasons, so far, at Michigan. How the heck is he overrated and overpayed? Because he hasn't found the unrealistic Nick Saban level of success?

So maybe the real problem is Michigan fans have unrealistic standards in the most parity-driven era of sports.

I get what you're saying but occasionally beating your rivals(or teams with a winning record for that matter) doesn't really strike me as unrealistic for the 3rd highest paid coach in college football...

 

Meh, what you pay your coach shouldn't define who you beat. I'm sure there's plenty of coaches who are over and underpaid who all underperform, also who gives a shit when your funded by wealthy boosters

 

State won a couple squeakers and Ohio State is one of the 2-3 best programs in the country.

 

Seriously. Coach pay is the least of my concerns, when the sport is ran by indentured servants.
