Has anybody read or heard analysis breaking down Darnold? I'm watching them now and I feel like there is something weird with his throwing mechanics. It seems almost "loopy". I don't know, I still feel like he is accurate and certainly a really good prospect, but I would think if I'm seeing it that the NFL scouts have to as well.

this TCU Kansas game is insane, 43-0 with a quarter and a half left to play. Turpin is a machine.

 

Kansas is one of the worst teams in college football. That result is not surprising at all.

 

I mean yeah they're a joke, but watching that Turpin kid make some wild plays against them has been fun!

 

So yeah, USC actually sucks

 

I take no joy in supporting ESPN, but the multicast feature on their streaming app is quite nice.

 

It's so dumb. They are basically Alabama West strictly in terms of recruiting. They out recruit every team in the West and it's not particularly close (It goes USC -----> Stanford/UCLA -------------------------------->Everyone else) and they are gross.

I just hope Chip doesn't go to SC/UCLA.

 

I think Notre Dame is actually pretty good too.

 

Whether they win or lose this game against San Diego State, what Jeff Tedford has done at Fresno State is nothing short of incredible.

Tim DeRuyter completely tore that program down. It took 8 months for Tedford to turn a 1 win ball team into a conference title contender.

 

I said ASU was gonna be way better, looks like I was right. Called cal as well but asu is definitely further along, even though I would take rookie Hc Wilcox upside over graham.

 

Dude on the Wyoming/Boise St. broadcast gave his top 5 for the NFL draft and they were Allen and Rosen 1/2. Oof.

 

I think Rosen could go #1 overall. It really depends on who gets that pick.

Josh Allen is incredibly overrated and looks like a mid-round NFL QB prospect to me.

 

It's more the Allen thing that I'm just kind of stunned by. Dude has a big time arm. He can make some killer throws. But he's raw as hell and the very type of player that turns into a starter in the NFL like once every 15 years and people always remember that one guy instead of the 100 failures with a big arm. I just don't see it either.

 

I don't think Allen is as bad as this year or as good as last year, I feel like he's a dalton kind of dude with more upside. Put some talent around him, build his confidence and he could be okay. Falling will definitely help him because he won't go to a horrible team.

I like Rosen but I just feel like he'll end up in an Andrew luck situation where he has to throw a ton and has a bad ol again if he ends up going that high.

 

I feel like this post could describe Christian Hackenberg as a prospect as well...

 

He had two years of bad play though. A lot more factors in that. I don't think he's as bad as CH. Season isn't over yet though. Sometimes you risk it for a guy's upside and you do it 5 rounds to one early, don't do that.
