Two great games to start the season. Sadly, both are overshadowed by the Hayward injury. :tear: Glad the league's back though.

  18. Does that mean Lebron and D Wade will be winning the next two championships?

watching the highlights it looks like Mbah A Moute and Tucker were keys to this win

somebody mentioned why the Rockets are considered more of a threat than OKC, i think adding toughness and defense from those guys plus CP3 to make sure Harden doesnt mentally check out when games get tough will go a long way this season, plus 48 minutes of either Harden or Paul to run the offense all game

still dont have enough to really compete in a 7 game series but it should atleast be (slightly) more competitive

Yeah Tucker and Mbah A Moute were both huge, especially in the second half. I think they could potentially be more important than Paul this season for the rockets. I just don't see Paul being as effective as he has been his entire career while playing with Harden. Paul basically just became a slower version of Patrick Beverley for most of the game, and his final stat line looked incredibly similar to a Beverley stat line from the past few years. Obviously Paul is a better player and he is hurt, but I just think he is going to have to drastically change what he has always been in order to fit or be all that effective. I think he will be at his best when Harden is sitting.

Anyways, after last night I'm even more excited about this team than I already was. Eric Gordon had a monster game too!

Apparently Paul has a bruised knee, could explain the slowness
