Lebron hates Gilbert so Cavs are out, Lakers? Miami? Some weird team like the Kings or Pelicans? Nets? I feel like a lot of teams would be willing to make it happen, but so few make sense.

  2. Miami is my vote just for the outrage

I have trouble picturing Lebron going to the western conference but ya never know

Hollywood is a good point. He's done some acting already hasn't he?

Yeah, LeBron hates him so much that he came back to play for him a second time...

I don't see LeBron leaving and I damn sure don't see him going to play anywhere in the Western Conference, let alone a re-building franchise like the Lakers at age 34-years-old.

It's funny how the mainstream media loves to speculate on LeBron leaving, yet Joe Vardon of Cleveland Plain Dealer point blank asked LeBron yesterday "you've said many times since coming back to Cleveland that you wish to finish your career in Cleveland, has that changed?' and LeBron's response was "my intentions haven't changed." Yet ESPN publishes a headline that says 'LeBron noncommittal about future.'

Also, important to note that a big part of LeBron leaving in 2010 was that he couldn't get any free agents or other big names to play with him in Cleveland. That has all changed. Players who get bought out want to come to Cleveland to play with him, Kevin Love re-signed max deal to stay in Cle when he could have left, Tristan re-signed, JR re-signed (guys who are very, very close to LeBron). He was able to lure Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams, Larry Sanders, Dwayne Wade, Derrick Rose, etc. Some of the guys didn't pan out, but the point is, those are types of players who didn't want to come to Cleveland/play with LeBron during his first stint in Cleveland. And all the players I mentioned there had several other suitors. Gilbert is paying millions upon millions in luxury tax to surround LeBron with a championship-caliber team year after year.

LeBron has a cakewalk to the Finals so long as he stays in his hometown, I have NO idea why he'd ever give that up.

As a Cavs fan I hope he plays the rest of his career in Cleveland.

IF he leaves I think he’ll go to the Lakers.

I don’t have much else to add at the moment. I’m ready for the season to start!

The bigger question is what kind of deals they all want. Lebron will no question get a max, I don't know if Melos ego will allow and then I'm not sure how cp3 will look this year. Wade probably wants more than the minimum so idk

Take it from a Celtics fan. No NBA team ever should hire Rick Pitino.

Well, the Knicks situation was really bad so I give him a pass for that.

I think the nba has more problems than tanking (not a big deal at all in my opinion)...

But with that said. I actually like the new draft lottery system.

I am fine with the resting players fine, given how more rest days have been added and no back to backs will occur around more high priority televised games. It's not a rule I would have instituted, but the league has at least done things with the schedule to make it pretty easy to avoid the potential fine.

The draft lottery piece I do not care for. I would rather overhaul the system as opposed to tweaking it the way they did. I don't see how this discourages tanking.

With the power of the players in the league, and figures like lebron, cp3, etc, no way that stands. The fan base will definitely side with the players on that one. Other than how he handled the clippers stuff early on, adam silver seems pretty out of touch.

I was really surprised by his response. Unless he's just playing dumb until it happens so he can pretend he didn't know, I don't get that answer at all.

Adam has been doing well in these situations as they come up. I don’t think he’s out of touch. What makes you say that other than these most recent comments?
