Kanter’s 2018-19 is a player option. Out of personal preference or having a solid season, you can’t really guarantee he’ll opt in.

 

confused by the "east is so bad" comments (a few here, a few on Twitter and article comment sections) as if Melo staying on the Knicks was a contender. these people have watched basketball the last few years, right?

 

plus, literally everyone across the basketball world bashes Melo. Then, when he finally gets moved, its "THATS ALL THEY COULD GET FOR HIM!?"

I think he'll opt in, I'm not sure that money will be there from another team

 

My fave part of this whole fiasco is journalists like isola and mcyintire scrambling to figure out who the other team was and failing. Zach Lowe mentioned the thunder as a sneaky team months ago. Troy weaver wasn't gonna give up.

The best part is if the lottery reform kicks in this coming draft the Knicks could have the worst record and get the no.5 pick lol
