This is the first offseason in at least 5 years where it seems like the Lakers are gonna score in free agency. I’d say there is a very high percentage that LA ends up with 2 max guys.

For the lakers would it be like

Ingram, kuzma, hart and maybe sign and trade brook and 3 1sts?

The Sixers can offer just as good of a package as the Celtics and a better one than either LA team. Why wouldn't they be in the mix?

  4. My guess is because Kawhi wants to go to a specific market/team. If he tells a team he won't resign with them, then that probably cuts them out.

I want the kings to get kawhi just so doncic becomes a spur, that would be perfect

  6. No chance SA trades to LA

  7. Cause you could be looking at a one year rental. Which I don’t think is worth trading Fultz, Dario, and a top 10 pick. Obviously none of that would matter if you guys could get him to re-sign

#Nuggets dark horse for everyone imo

When you have three shitty deals and can't even afford a max unless you get rid of them, your pick and still have to extend jokic... you always have to be a dark horse

  11. Reminder of what Boston is sitting on

Absolutely, but Boston is in the same boat

  13. Boston’s a pretty big market and it seems Stars like going there.

Really don't think you have to give up that much when the situation is essentially, trade me now or lose me for nothing next summer.
I think Ingram + Kuz + Frye's contract gets it done. Then they package Lonzo + Deng's deal to clear cap for PG

  16. Boston most likely makes the finals next season (assuming Bron is gone or the team is just healthy). Adding Kawhi to that team makes them pretty competitive with Golden State (probably)

    As is Philadelphia lol

If the argument is that the Celtics are better right now than the Sixers, fine, that's correct. The Sixers also have the ability to add another max player pretty easily, which the Celtics don't. Otherwise the teams are in exactly the same boat

  18. Those Celtics draft picks are really really attractive to a team that is about to lose their superstar and will want to rebuild.

#10 pick and Dario/Fultz is pretty good but I think Jaylen Brown + Kings pick/Memphis pick is a lot more intriguing to San Antonio

  19. I don’t consider Philly in that category.

  20. It’s impossible to know what Ainge is even thinking. He could do some wild shit and end up trading those pieces for like a draft pick this year lmao

Will they want to rebuild? They still have Aldridge, and unless Pop retires I doubt they'll go full rebuild. It's totally feasible, but it's also possible they want more immediate help (If the Sixers need to add Covington to the deal, they're doing it)

It's also possible the Knicks gets stupid and offer Porzingis or something. Who knows, but the Sixers are very well positioned and have a lot of ties to the Spurs organization

They have a bigger television market. As for attracting top talent, the Celtics have gotten one "star" and that was via trade. I don't remember if he specifically wanted to go to Boston or not, all I remember are Knicks rumors. Either way, this is the first time the Sixers are preparing to make a big splash in the offseason outside of the draft since signing Elton Brand, so we'll see about your second point, but the attractiveness of the GM job is a good sign for the Sixers.

  23. This sounds like the kinda thing Philly fans tell themselves to make them feel better but no one actually thinks Philly is comparable to the Boston Celtics, right? Like, looking at last 15-30 years ... this seems pretty obvious. Boston's been a top free agent destination my entire life. Philly, uh, hasn't. And I hate Boston.
