So....I am pretty angry about LGBTIQ rights being absent from the debates, especially this one given Pence's evil position. How the fuck did that not come up? Not that either of them would have done anything but change the topic back to taxes or idiot patriarchal shit, but still.

 

That's on Kaine for not bringing up his record on that shit.

 

I think that would be the same as the silence. The moderator bringing up issues frames them legitimately within the context of the debate. A jab at Trump or Pence for their positions, insane or not, isn't really a good beginning for any conversation. I use "legitimate" and "conversation" with an almost entirely satirical tone at this point I guess. TBH I don't really want to actually listen to what either of them would have said on the issue, but I think that's more bias because they totally lost me when they shoehorned their big ups to Jesus.

 

It's still a little surreal to me that the whole country now is getting to experience what a disingenuous, beady-eyed fuckweasel Mike Pence is, instead of just us.
