Well, Leafs already got some centers in Nylander and Kadri and need to shore up their defense.

1st OA for Dillon+Polak.

I get that's not the best barometer but I have to imagine that hasn't happened for a non goalie

 

That's absurd. We are getting hosed in that trade. I'll have you know Dillon/Polak are Stanley cup final defenseman. 1st OA + Lupul + Horton for Dillon + Polak and I'll even throw in Donskoi.

This local coverage is unbelievable. People straight up turning down interviews off camera but with the audio on. An entirely new level of joy

 

I'm not mad that the Pens won because they haven't won since 2009, but they're still 1 of the 4 last teams to win the cup... At least it wasn't LA or the Hawks.

feel like I say that every year just to be disappointed. I forget, was Kessel a draft day trade? Have there been any other fun draft day trades other than that in recent years?

 

Yeah this is why I love DVRing this kind of stuff even more. It's not the same watching some DVD of highlights.

And they're all idiots. He was immature when he entered the league but he's an actual leader now. If you still actually hate him you're petty. So fuck off. I'm gonna go celebrate.

 

Looks like his deal was right on July 1st last summer. O'Reilly, Dougie Hamilton, Talbot, Jones, Hagelin, Palmieri were some of the guys moved at the draft last year. Nothing that big, but I'm hoping for crazy shit this draft haha

All four years the Penguins won the Cup their coach was in his first year with the team.

 

People bitching about Crosby are dumb. Maybe Kessel deserved it more but Crosby was great. 3 less points then Kessel, 3 game winning goals in the Tampa series, killed penalties, and absolutely played his ass off this entire series.
