That's exactly how I feel. I wanted one of those teams to win it so much, I'm disappointed... Oh well, congrats to the Pens! Now the long wait for October.

 

Thornton marleau ward and Jones...feel so hard for those guys. No shame in losing to the most stacked team since the late 90s/early 2000s wings...but man.

 

Kinda funny how the goalie who just won the Stanley Cup and will be getting some Conn Smythe consideration will still be eligible for the Calder trophy next season.

 

I'm getting kinda emotional right now but I'm proud of the Sharks for what they did this season. They basically conquered all their demons. Joe Thornton can finally silence the critics that he can help his team make the finals and Marleau finally made the finals. I don't expect this team to be this good next year but hopefully they will get one last shot with this core since the Pacific is still pretty weak.

like Phil Kessel was consistent through these whole playoffs meanwhile Crosby was pointless through some stretches.

I'm now more mad Kessel didn't win it.

 

Seriously there's a couple players that would have deserved it more than Crosby...

The most impressive thing about Crosby's series is him resisting the urge to yell "FUCK YEAH!" during that sequence. He earned the Conn Smythe right there.

There's no denying Crosby showed up on some key plays, won some key faceoffs...but to job Kessel like this is 100% bullshit. Even Canadians gotta admit it.

 

So everyone on the Penguins who HAS already won the Cup before gets to hoist it before everyone on the team who hasn't hahahahaha
