I went to 2 of the 3 Devils home games in the finals in 2012 against LA

I think I spent $300 total for both games combined

You vultures wait til July 1st damn it! The wound of game 7 is still too fresh to think about him playing for another team, I know it'll probably happen and I'll be fine with it if it happens but I'm still depressed the season is over.

Oh I know the feeling. Try being a Sabres fan and losing both co-captains Chris Drury and Daniel Briere on July 1, 2007. We're just starting to come out of the dark ages of that.

That's brutal. I wanted to get tickets but felt that $130 + fees for standing room only was absurd. Might try and scalp some or stubhub it before a game.

Damn $750 for the cheapest seat is crazy but I just assumed Consol was way bigger than SAP so there's less seats and just a quick look says there's a difference of about 825 seats. I remember going to a game in San Jose a few years ago and it felt crazy small though it didn't help the next night we went to a game at Staples Center and that place is ridiculously huge.

The Sharks are going to start doing standing room for this run but they do them the day of and they sell out so fast that it isn't even worth it for me.

Yeah that probably has something to do with it and it also doesn't help that if Warriors get eliminated everyone will jump on the Sharks bandwagon.

Bay Area folks don't want to admit to being bandwagon but they are that kind of crowd.

I have a Sharks shirt that I wear some what regularly and now I can't all summer. Cause if we win or we lose I'll get shit haha.

I will wear my Jumbo Joe Bruins jersey all damn month if I have to

  9. I don't even want to say how much I spent on a MSG ticket for the finals a couple years ago. I'm still ashamed about it.

Tickets were sold out in seconds anyway so now standing room only is $250+ and that's just for the first 2 games. Obviously going to any game would be awesome but going to game 5 or 7 if they had a chance to get that 4th win would be amazing and I can only imagine how much those will be going for.

I'm preparing myself for NBC to complain about how poor the ratings will be for game 1.

Fuck that. The NBA is so overrated these days. Lost it's muster for me when Jordan retired in 1998 and the league practically immediately went into a lockout. Even the weaker teams in the 90s would give a good chunk of today's teams a run for their money. The league has gotten so soft.

I'm moving to Pitt in a year, I intend on going to as many games at consol decked out in rangers gear. And if the pens lose, I'm buying a burns sweater haha.

    I will be dead.

  15. I'm confused about the Datsyuk contract situation. I keep seeing talk about Detroit trying to move "his contract" to dump salary. If he's retiring why is Detroit still on the hook for the remainder of his contract?

It's a 35+ contract so the cap hit stays no matter what

    Shut Up

Cap hit stays due to the age he was when he signed it, but no real money actually has to be paid.

    there is one way out

I was able to get decent seats to game 6 of the Caps series for like $115. M

Cheapest I see now are for like $260. How much you think scalpers would be?

Haha honestly Pittsburgh fans don't really fuck with other sports fans unless those fans are super obnoxious/assholes. Except Flyers fans. People usually fuck with them haha.

Where are you moving to in Pittsburgh/ why are you moving?

Not sure. If they're stuck with tickets right before the game I'm sure you could get em for around $100 but I don't know how quickly they get rid of tickets for playoff games. I know during the regular season you can go down and buy tickets off scalpers right as the game is about to start for like $20.

  21. undonesweater

    Regular

Game 3, and keep in mind that these games are at 5 PM PST, is 800$ minimum on Stubhub

Fuck. That. Absolutely absurd. I'd love to go to one of these games but I'm having a hard time justifying spending the money.
