Hoping the Sharks win the Cup

 

Wait what?

 

As a Bruins fan I am all aboard the Sharks bandwagon. Thornton was my favorite player as a kid, I was devastated when he was traded, and I would love to see him win the Cup. He deserves it.

 

Going for the Sharks on this one. They definitely deserve it.

Joel Ward continues to be clutch in the playoffs.

 

They have a real nice collection of "old guys who have never won the Cup" to borrow the topic of a Sean McIndoe article from a few weeks back.

Thornton, Marleau, Ward, Zubrus, and Martin could all be considered in that category.

 

Same here, loved watching him growing up. So psyched to see him make it, almost offsets the fact that our front office is fucking inept

 

Canucks also threw in the 33rd overall and a fourth. McCann is 19 and has real promise. It's an ok deal considering Gudbranson is a minute muncher, but that's the kind of trade you make as a contender, and Vancouver....well...

 

The fact that there's a possible $400 swing in my winnings based on tonight's game really puts a damper on my excitement and desire to watch it. Ugh

NHL threatened to fine the Tampa bay lightning if they hosted another official viewing party because of low tv ratings on NBC. Dumb stuff.

Wings acquire LW Dylan Sadowy from the Sharks in exchange for a 3rd round pick in 2017.

Sharks were having trouble signing Sadowy and he was apparently days away from re-entering the draft, where some thought he may be as high as a first rounder.

45 goals in 64 games between Barrie/Saginaw this year.

 

This disappoints me greatly especially because they had signed some awful grit dudes to contracts recently.

 

At least you're gonna win a Stanley Cup.
