In all honesty, I would be more ok with the Pens winning if it wasn't for Pierre McGuire. And I still buy into the conspiracy theory that the league owes Lemieux for doing them a solid when the franchise was on the verge of collapse.

 

I mean I'm not a huge Rangers fan but I don't hate them as much as he seems to hate the Pens.

 

Yea, there's certain things I'll never understand. One is the extreme, irrational hate from rangers fans about the pens. The insults I see on Facebook go from blatant homophobic slurs to execution in front of the players families... It's just incredibly disgusting. Somehow they blame it on "the passion of the game".

 

I would love to see Matt Cooke murdered in front of his family. If you don't, then frankly you are the disgusting one.

Everyone hates the call until it benefits their team. I'm guilty of it myself.

 

I don't mind it.

I just applaud the Pens coach that caught that. I would've never seen that.

 

That is iffy though. I'd kinda prefer they just made the call in real time. Either look at every goal for offsides or don't look at any because if it is offsides but you don't have any challenges that's just shitty.
