Just to add to Chris post about time start for the game on Friday:

 

He just skates so smoothly. It was impressive to watch him move around out there against a guy like Matthew Barzal (Islanders top prospect).

When it mattered at the end of the game, that Brandon D just slammed the door and shut down all passing lanes and just was allowing almost nothing to get through on net. It was just a dominating performance. He hasn't shown up on the score sheet much this series but just being able to watch him last night was something. Both Seattle goals were on the PP (5 on 3 and then a 5 on 4 which Provorov was in the box for) and each came within like a minute of each other. So outside of that small burst, they allowed nothing.

I think he's pretty much guaranteed a spot on the team next year...I'll be curious what they do with Morin/Sanheim. Sanheim probably spends 2016-2017 with Lehigh Valley. Morin is the one I'm interested in as to if they keep him with LV for another year or what they do.

 

That's great to hear! I'm curious too. The talk I keep hearing around here is potentially trading Streit to free up cap space to bring in some much needed scoring help. I'm thinking Provorov to the Flyers, Sanheim I can see with Lehigh but wouldn't be surprised if an injury or something brings him to the Flyers at some point this year. Morin is definitely a question mark. And I'm curious about Hagg/Alt as well.

Just seen a mixed bag of opinions on Morin. Some think he's ready, some think he's not close. I wouldn't be surprised to see Morin or Sanheim dealt this offseason actually. They are just stacked with defensive prospects, won't be able to keep them all long term so might as well try and deal one for a forward if the opportunity presents itself.

 

I just want it to be known I'm still forever bitter the Sharks couldn't suck last year enough to get Provorov or also spent that nine pick on Meier since they picked for need instead of best player available and I wanted Barzal badly.

Didn't want to post this goal during the playoffs last night and it's not directly related to the NHL playoffs. Each team and game deserves its time when its live in this thread imo. However, anyone who likes hockey can appreciate this goal and is probably aware of the prospect. As a Jackets fan (lol), I was watching this game last night (also lol) and got pretty pumped up about it. The Monsters channeled their inner parent team and gave up a 4-1 lead, but this goal is pretty gnarly.
