I really hope Ragland falls to the Packers at #27 but I'm not counting on it - the Billings kid from Baylor wouldn't be a bad pick

 

I'm just scared we'll take Dodd or Obgah and they'll bust. I could see both going either way.

 

It'll be hard for Carolina to pick a bust when you already have that personnel

 

Dodd is not good. He was the other guy at Clemson.

Lawson and Reader made him look better than he is.

I know an even better one but I cant say... You know who I'm referring to though.

 

I keep thinking of Dodd as John McCargo from NC State when he was on a line with Mario Williams and Manny Lawson. Not hard to produce when there's 2 or 3 other guys that are better than you on the same DL.

 

How different is that from being on an already good Carolina line though?

 

Hypothetically, IF he was a product of Lawson and Reader, then that doesn't mean he's going to be able to succeed in the NFL no matter what DL he's on. Using the McCargo comparison again, dude was flat out awful. He could have played on a line with Jared Allen and Julius Peppers circa 2007 and still been a huge bust.

 

So he shouldn't be drafted then lol it'll be funny if that happens

I was really into Kevin byard as a late sleeper kind of guy, I just saw that tape of him against central Michigan and was pretty disappointed. Meh

watching some of the older drafts on NFL Network and I'm blown away by how many guys were drafted in 2010 that seem like they've been around longer. Tim Tebow was drafted six years ago, played 3-4 years but it feels like he's been out for a decade already.
