I don't. He has a lot of upside, but he wouldn't be ready to help them for at least a season. I still think they really like Petty and Fitzpatrick will probably come back.

They had the slowest LBs in the league last season. Lee fills a huge need and he also has some incredible upside.

It's tough to see them go defense again, but it makes sense. I wanted Treadwell, but it is what it is.

Pretty much 0. But, it does make it far more likely that other DT/DE's fall to us.

Yeah, Im amazed how many DTs are still there. Felt like the WRs were gonna fall if anything

  7. JRShoenberger

    there is one way out

Yeah. I'm not expecting him to be there, but after how yesterday fell, who knows?

I have a pretty good feeling we'll walk out of round 2 with a really solid player. I'm hoping for DT, DB, or OLB, but not a WR...

Together We'll Fight the Long Defeat Supporter

Hoping the Jags draft FSU's placekicker at some point this weekend - I wouldn't be upset with a round 3 pick, but I'd prefer to get him in round 4 or 5.

With 4 more picks in the top 100 hopefully the Seahawks can grab a flyer on Jack or Smith.

Or I would also be okay to trade up and grab one of those top DTs left.

They already said it last night. Day one starter at OLB opposite of Hughes in the base package. Whaley Compared him to Michael Bennett, saying he Can drop down or even inside depending on the package.

I have a feeling they'll use the Under front a lot because of the personnel, with Hughes and Lawson as the DE and Dareus/ Kyle Williams inside

Rex will play him out of position.

haha, its like the Cockrell plays where he was supposed to tackle dudes and he Cromartie'd the play instead

And with snatching up Cockrell. Thats 3 young corners all who play with eyes on the QB, looking to make plays. I'd say that is enough of a pattern to say they are shifting what they look for in a DB.

Problem is, that makes S super important, becuase they have to make the read off of how the CB is reacting. So we need to nail a safety pick here on Day 2

    WELCOME THRILLHO Supporter

Knew Jaylon's injury was bad, but honestly chalked up a lot of the Jack-talk as teams trying to push him down the board to themselves in the 8-13 range. I didn't think his knee was THIS serious, but it just so clearly has to be. There's about 5 teams in the back 3rd of the 1st round that I am confident take Jack if his outlook is merely a bit more encouraging than it is.

I'm sure I'm not saying anything you all don't know by now. Just still so shocked about this fall.

Figured it was for Tunsil or Coleman when they passed on Lynch at 20.

I'm happy with Lee and the team really didn't have enough resources to move up for Tunsil.

You said "dont trade up" lol it'll all work out if they pick someone better this round though. I've heard Tomlin say he's a natural "bump corner", I guess it makes some sense. He also doesn't have any injury history which is a plus.
