If you're too good for sports fans why do you moderate sports forums? I mean you seem like you dont enjoy it much anymore.

 

First off, my comment was probably a little harsh, so I apologize if anybody that saw it took offense. I've deleted it. Second, I'm not too good for sports fans...it was just an observation. Third, I still do enjoy sports, but I don't let them run my life like some of my friends do.

 

Honestly, I'm just sick of the yearly three month build up to the draft, when it's largely overhyped and everybody complains that their team didn't draft the right guys, and everybody says "player x sucks why did they draft him lol" and it's the same thing every year.

I know I'm probably in the minority here though, and that's fine.

 

I wonder what the process will be like in ten years.

Kind of strange that the build up gets longer and longer but the actual draft itself takes less and less time - although that's a great thing. I remember the 2005 draft and having to leave for work right when GB was picking (live in Wisconsin so), thinking I would see at least the entire first round and half of the second only to find, some goddamn 5 hours later, that they were only at pick 24 of the first round.

 

Niners have a great draft position, a tradable QB multiple teams could use, and 52 billion in cap space. The possibilities are endless. The only way they can fuck this up is by drafting a shitty QB in the first round.

 

Only posting that so I can quote it in disgust when it happens.

The Goff vs. Wentz thing is just so uninspired. I don't believe them haha. Wentz isn't even the second best QB in the draft.
