Sequences I will always remember:

Kevin Love playing the best defense of his career on Curry to force an off balance miss.

Kyrie seeking out the switch on Curry and dropping The Shot right on him.

The Block.

 

Love spent most of the series looking like he couldn't run and dribble a basketball at the same time, and then he plays that defense. Amazing lol.

 

Looks like there will be an official Believeland epilogue. 30 for 30 crew was in The Land last night.

 

Is it just me or is my office like really dusty today or something, what is this in my eye.

 

I was so nervous that entire sequence. (We all were really). I was just waiting for Curry to throw the shot up / lean in and get the foul call. It's funny to watch how smooth Curry moves while Love does all he can and is stumbling around trying to catch up and he did everything right that sequence.

As for "the block" - which one? Should be "The Blocks"!

 

Downtown Cleveland last night is something I will never forget. Unreal

 

Saw on Twitter last night - GSW hasn't won since Curry's white geriatrics cruise shoes were released.

 

I was just reminded how awful the Rockets uniforms were when they went back to back. I had completely blocked those out of my memory. Ugh.

 

Once that Curry shot missed. That moment, being with best friends crying and hugging and being in cleveland until 2. that was the greatest moment of my life. Being a part of that unabated joy. Seeing the billboard of Lebron with "Champions" above it. Seeing thousands and thousands of people smiling and in euphoria. I had my camera and was interviewing a bunch of people, mostly older guys about what it feels like getting a championship after suffering for so long and those dudes so emotional and hugging them. Every fan and every person there was apart of one of the greatest stories ever told.

Other than maybe a buzzer beater shot as time expired by Lebron, this whole thing sounds straight out of fictional, highly-thought out, inspirational movie. Even though I'm only 25, it makes being a unapologetic,vulnerable cleveland fan and the suffering all so fucking worth it.

 

Kind of wish I knew all the cleveland sports fans numbers on here. Totally would've seeked you out last night and gave y'all big hugs. I want to hug everybody right now.

All I have to say it's gonna be dope to be able to be the old guy in the room that gets to tell the young bloods all about watching Lebron back in the day.

Also Lebron, you ended one of the longest championship droughts, Wanna come take a crack at the longest?..

 

Man, what a crazy NBA season.

Kobe's 60 point farewell.
Warriors 73 wins.
Curry's 400+ three-pointers.
LeBron's finals.
Cleveland's misery ends.

A lot of incredible moments.

 

Looks like I picked the wrong weekend to be out of town.
I didn't get to watch the game but am so happy the Cavs won it all. Looking forward to the offseason and to see how both teams come back next year (and what the Lakers are up to, of course)

 

This season was so dope I can't believe it's over

 

I miss basketball already. Luckily there's the draft on Thursday and the Olympics this summer. I'll undoubtably watch some summer league too.

 

Kyrie should have gotten final's MVP... I also finally gained a little respect for LeBron.

What a game 7

 

I will be available for hugs on Wednesday, although it may be hard to navigate if what they're saying (close to a million people) is true.

 

No and Lebron already should have had your respect.

How anyone thinks Lebron is not finals MVP is beyond me. The dude was the leader in ALL FIVE MAJOR STATISTICAL CATEGORIES. ALL FIVE.

Respect is earned, not given.

Imo Kyrie carried the team, no slight against LeBron. He finally became somewhat of a leader.

 

Not at all. If it wasn't for Kyrie, they wouldn't have won game 7 plain and simple.

 

If it wasn't for Lebron, they would've been a 7 seed out in the first round of the playoffs.
